As what I've learned in Philippine History, the triangle in the Philippine Flag is inspired from the flag of Cuba as a sign of respect to Cubans who have helped the country to gain independence.
Correct it was based and inspired by the flag of Cuba and did you know that our national hero Jose Rizal was about to set foot to Cuba to help Cuban during their revolution as a doctor but was arrested by the Spaniards and the rest was history.
And fan fact i dont know if some of the teachers here in our country still teaches this but the sun in our PH flag was inspired by The Rising Sun in Japan.
Fun Fact: We have more unique transportation than Jeeps. "Tricycle" is a motorcycle with a passenger space on the side. "Pedicab" is a tricycle but with a bike it looks like your "BicyTaxi (Sorry for spelling it wrong). "Habal-Habal" is a motorcycle practically a taxi but cheaper for obvious reasons. "Motorella" is like a Trycicle but the passenger space is behind and it has a motor. It looks like a mini Jeep and can be mostly seen on the island of Mindanao since it was invented there. "Kalesa" is our "Kotse" in the Philippines it practically looks similar its a carriage. It can mostly be seen in Manila and its mostly used for the feeling and tourism. And Kotse in Filipino translates to car.

When you ride in a jeepney here in the Philippines, you actually don't need to ring the bell, you can simply say or literally need to shout "para po!" (meaning to stop because you will go down) 🤪

No, it's not expensive to go and stay to Manila just ride in a Tricycle or Jeep instead of taxi.Dont go to fancy restaurants you can eat in the tuhog-tuhog(Street foods) Shop in divisoria not in malls and lastly You can encounter Good Filipinos out there that can help you when asking direction just take care you can also encounter the street kids or begars.I hope my tips can help you,Godbless and thankyou for supporting our Queen Rabiya there!❤️

List these places in your bucket list to visit in the Philippines: Ilocos Region, Municipality of Sagada, Hundred Islands in Pangasinan, Cebu, Siargao Palawan to name a few. Backpacking is ideal. Communication with people is not a problem most Pinoys at least can speak basic English.
living in manila is a bit expensive compare to the province but for me as a Filipino citizen i prefer to stay or live in province there are so many beautiful places in the phils more convenient to stay like cebu,palawan,tagaytay,baguio,ilocos and more.
A bit of a trivia Luis about the Philippines as well. It is written in our history that in 1897, during the creation of the Philippines First Republic: our Constitution was drafted and the charter was based from Cuban Constitution so yeah. 😄 we learn that in school. ✌🏻
