It's excellent seeing you back sir! Good Sunday evening viewing. I'd love to see you check out Lothur grooming from the UK, I think the face feel would blow your mind. I'm from the UK and reckon it's all I'll buy from now on (if I ever need to buy anything again).
Nice setup and shave. I agree pushing a blade doesn’t make sense. I am 3 and out. It has the most impact to the shave and is the cheapest component. Especially when using a titanium or similar higher end razor. 😊
It's always a pleasure to see the king return to his throne permanently. For what is worth, you were my teacher in my first steps in wet shaving. When I started watching your videos I had 1 or two creams in the den and now..... I have 3 or 4. 😂
Hi Michael- Great shave and Elvado shaving product reviews; thank you! Fantastic to see you, as always. Have a great start to the week. Be safe and be well. Best regards, as always, Michael.
Great review Michael😍, I nearly always apply a moisturizer after my shave, I tend to use alcohol based splashes so almost a necessity for my old skin.👍👴
I used the Floiid Preshave Oil too. Really good oil. I normally don't have problems with the leather or problems cleaning the razor from it. Did i already tell you that i am happy to have you back? Love your content! Have a great week Michael!
Hey Michael very pleased that you enjoyed our latest Elvado Grooming line-up. We will be introducing a few more products and fragrance blends over the next several months ( Scent # 2 should be ready to go in early Fall...stay tuned! Happy that you are back in the SOTD Video review game. Your reviews have always been very educational and entertaining! Cheers John. 👍
I’ve said three weeks in a row now… I really missed these Sunday shaves and so happy they are back! Question: which razor would you pick to have a very tightly clamped blade (no chatter and little noise) with mild blade feel and high efficiency?
Never heard of this brand before. Thanks for the introduction. Regarding your previous video with Abbate Y La Mantia - Laureato. Is this your favourite in the brand?
Have you ever tried the Alt Innsbruck Pre/Post Emulsion? It’s like an oily gel, you might like it, it is a good performer and was the only pre shave that actually enhanced my shave. Not hot on the scent though, which is 1:1 like Stirling Electric Sheep.
These kind of gels, if you know how to work them, enhance the shave a lot, they don't leave any residuals behind. With that said, I think that PAA Cube 2.0 is one of the best pre shave soap in the market .
@@T-R.e.x I have tried the Cube but it didn’t do much for me, might as well rub any shaving soap stick on the skin. Also didn’t like the charcoal, which caused some skin issues for me. But as always YMMV, many folks swear on it!

Elvado and Michael Freedberg - a romance going back many years!
Edit: YES, that's a B7 knot, as I could never forget :)

I believe yes, this one and Matteo.
Every AYLM has different ingredients.
Not a bad performer, but nowhere near the artisan beasts from the US.
