  • The title describes this video well. This method takes more time, though delivers the oh-so-perfect lather. Want to lather more quickly? Check the first couple of minutes of this video to see how. You'll have to copy and paste the link.

    Great video! Water is definitely the key to a great lather!

    all I do Is add a shave brush full of water directly into the shave puck in the bowl. shake out the brush and swirl it directly in the bowl till the brush gets full. then apply it to the face and work it in. this works for me. may not work for others. thanks for the video. tried soft cream soaps don't' care for them to much work the ole puck type works best for me. I like to alternate my soaps and shave brushes and double edge razors. I have seven brushes and razors to change every third shave. plus three bowls of different soaps to alternate also. just my preference. this give me a different feel every time. plus three different types of double edge razor blades. keeps the monotony down thanks for video

    What is the advantage of a wooden can over a ceramic one?
    I have a ceramic bowl for storing soap about the same size, a synthetic spreader Yaki 30 millimeters - I scoop up soap in 5 seconds, whip in a slightly larger bowl in 10-15 seconds and a thick, gorgeous lather is ready to use.
    In principle, I do the same as you, but I don't like extra movements, extra work).

      The bowl in the video is a copper bowl. The advantage relative to a ceramic bowl is that is won't break. If wanted to lather and shave as quickly as possible, you can avoid the bowl all together by loading the brush from the tub and face lathering. If you want to lather even faster, you can use our shave stick without a brush. All that said, this video was really meant for shaving enthusiasts. We like lather a certain way and you can't achieve that in 15 seconds.

      Chris, it's the standard weight. Since doing this video, we have a bowl now as well that is a top performer.

    Should save the soap "run-off" water for adding water later and rinse the soap tub out last.

    • @HendrixClassics
      @HendrixClassics  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I totally agree with that if you add water to soften the soap.

    Shave with any bar soap or Mitchell's Wool Fat? Cut the bar soap up, put in a mug, cover the soap with a small amount of water, microwave for a minute or so? if it foams up, stop.
    let cool you just went it to congeal' place in the sun, until soap hardens Larry
