I feel so hopeless and I’m so tired of crappy drs , pharmacists, and Imaging facilities. Stay out of Southern NV IF YOU NEED QUALITY HEalthcare! There isn’t any here anymore.

I was diagnosed at age 15. It was stage 4. I had bloating, coughing, anemia, vaginal bleeding, constipation, nausea, fatigue, anxiety, and intense abdominal pain.
My aunt is suffering from this. She was diagnosed last year. Years before she used to feel bloated, full and she was constantly having stomach pains. She felt immensely tired after doing house chores. We jus presumed twas bcz of her age (shes prolly 62-65 rn) and we had no idea she had this all this while. Majority of the times it may go unnoticed or you'd jus rule out THIS possibility. I just pray for her well being daily its so painful duh
I was diagnosed 17th June 2020 my birthday. With grade 3c Ovarian Cancer. I 1st went to see my GP in March 2020 was told ibs/uti. When I told him my urine was clear as it was checked 3 times. By a nurse. In April I went back saw another GP female this tine at my surgery whare I was told the same thing. Being medically minded and a retired nurse i knew thete was something seriously wrong. My son who is a GP called my GP in May to get tests done as my pain was excruciating. I eventuly got a CT scan with contrast in 12th June. 5 dats later, it was confirmed I was not imagining my symptoms.
It is indeed insulting to be dismissed as a psychiatric patient until suddenly you're related to a doctor, be it parents, offspring or spouses... I know it has happened to me too many times and has only made me not willing to go see any doctor unless I have a visible bone fracture or something that can't be ruled as mental.
Im on urgent surgery wait list at minute to have my one remaining ovary removed as their is a tumour the size of a large orange on it. I dn't know if its cancer or not yet. Im 60yr, overweight with high BP so the surgery is very scary for me because of this. My mother past last year from cancer that orginated in her one ovary, but spread to her lungs before being discovered. My tumour was picked up during a CT colonography test for bowel problems so they referred me to rapid access gynae clinic. I have since had internal scan then an MRI and got phone call saying I am now on urgent wait list as it is pressing against bladder and bowel apparently. So Im finding all the not knowing whether its benign or malignant and worrying about surgery risks alot to handle. So I feel very emotional all the time. I started 4 years ago with vomiting while bending over...diagnosed with IBS-C n told we aren't meant to bend over. I then was bloating severely. My bowels were constipated. Now I can't pick up anything heavy or do any core exercises or I get moderate pelvic cramping. I'm 66. I've gotten blood clots in my lungs twice now with no reason why. I'm weak, don't eat much. Urine is very clear. I'm depressed at this point because I went to see s surgeon and he said I have a gluten allergy. I haven't ate gluten for 6 weeks now and still bloating cramping and bowel problems. Symptoms continue regardless of the changes to eating. I've seen 3 gyns in last 3 years because I always felt I had the flu. Nobody is listening and I'm about to give up.
Your frustration is warranted. Don’t give-up, and don’t stop searching for a doctor who will take you seriously! Be assertive, and don’t let any doctor dismiss your concerns. Insist on a transvaginal ultrasound and CA-125 blood test. CT scan isn’t as accurate at finding small ovarian tumors. IBS shouldn’t cause the pain you’re describing, especially if you’ve changed your diet, yet you continue having the discomfort. Like you, I’m searching for answers, as the pain feels like menstrual cramps from my youth, but on a daily basis. I’m 54, so you and me are past the age where pelvic cramps are normal. You deserve answers!
My sister went to Dr today bc of painful spasms she's been having in area of sternum. A CT scan showed 5 cm mass on ovary. She's making an appt with OBGYN. The spasms started several months ago and have gotten progressively worse, including waking her up at night and preventing her from being to work.
So the CT SCAN ACTUALLY WAS ABLE TO GET IMAGES OF THE OVARIES ? I’m glad your sister was aware and brave enough to explore when she knew something wasn’t right with her body. It is truly brave to choose to get diagnosed with something so serious. Sometimes I feel like just ignoring the symptoms because I’m afraid of the possibility of cancer , again
This may be a stupid question but is this cancer on the rise? I had non HPV cervical cancer at 28 my only sister had it too at just 4 months apart. I had a leep (loop electrical excision procedure) my sister had compete hysterectomy as she was done having children and 34 years old. With the history I have and having 2 severe autoimmune diseases that are very painful and do cause extreme fatigue, I am worried because I have many of these symptoms now
That’s what frustrating about having an autoimmune disease. How can we know what’s “normal,” and what’s not? I have MS, but am having the symptoms he describes. It seems like doctors take us for hypochondriacs because of our autoimmune conditions.
My mother is 64 with CA125 - 954, and huge aesetic fluid with the same limps in her belly.in January last in 2024 Dr, identify that now they set a chemotherapy schedule, which will start from 14-02-2024. Now my question is, as she is 954-CA125 with aesthetic fluid in her full belly, should we go for therapy and surgery because she is refusing to go for therapy, she believes that she is in the last stage and therapy will make her weak and early death.
Iv been to my GP with all these symptoms for about 6 months now. My official diagnosis is stress and anxiety. No internal exam has been offered or carried out. I’m worried my prior mental health issues are making the gp’s dismiss me entirely.
… Please request an appointment with a different GP in your surgery and tell that person all your symptoms and say you “are concerned it could be cancer” …
Hi I think you need to teach your fellow doctors and ER in hospitals as I went for years until I told the doctor I needed a CT scan he did and X-ray and ultrasound and couldn’t diagnose Finally he did a CT scan and I had large ovarian cyst I went through a lot of pain and anguish that I wouldn’t have gone through if I had a CT scan years earlier
A doctor picked up this when I hospital especially when she pushed on my very large tummy It really hurt. My tummy is big it feels like someone has pumped it up. I'm not weeing very much and loosing the urge to go. She said ovetian cancer straight away. I'm 62 4 of my sister's had it. The doctor added another blood test c-25 she said to make a urgent GP appointment BUT it's Sep 23 so getting a appointment is very hard. I'm pretty scared at the mo as I have major heart issues going on now this😢😢😢
You can order lab work online and I'm having a ca-125 here to check but it's not perfect. But I would rather have it performed than not. I thought it was due to covid but I am only eating about three or four bites and feeling full.
I am 22 turning 23 I been diagnosed with endometriosis since I was 14 and suffers from ovarian cysts in both ovaries. Now every symptoms you just describe i been having for the last months or 2. However my doctor always tell me I’m fine. It’s also a genetic issue so I can never be too careful. Can I request that specific test to be run on me just to be sure? Without a doctor requiring me to get it done.

So I’m here because I’m concerned I may have this, I have an appointment with my female doctor this coming week, I was recently in the hospital because all the symptoms were so severe I had to go to the hospital, first day at hospital ct was told to have shown nothing, my white blood cells were not normal though and some blood in urine sample, I got discharged with no answer, next day I thought I was okay so I went to go pick up my car from the hospital, but I could not drive, I got there I was nauseous faint, and in sooo much pain, they did an ultrasound and said they think I have pelvic congestion syndrome, which has all the same symptoms, but still they were not 100% sure on this, all my symptoms are the same as ovarian cancer, I’m always weak, I can barely eat, constant pain, feeling bloated, headaches all the time, always tired, dizzy all the time and nauseous as well though, I can’t drive it’s so bad. Please someone tell me if you have been misdiagnosed by this pelvic congestion syndrome and it end up being cancer? Because I even researched ultrasound photos they look very similar especially if it’s still early stage and hard to see the cancer on ultrasound. Please give me some answers i am scared
I don’t trust CT scans for Ovarian Cancer dx, especially in the early stages. If your doctor didn’t perform a transvaginal ultrasound and CA-125, I’d request both.

I have higher marker of ovarian cancer as result shared by my GP. It’s 78 for CA 125 II test. I have referral letter to Obstetrician-Gynecologist so hopefully will get an appointment as early as possible. But are you able to tell me what would be the stage I’m in and the chances of survival? Thank you.
Having watch my partner go through this. I have learnt I wish I had hindsight on bloating tiredness symptoms earlier on. Everyone is different so having a grade 2 over a grade 4 cancer doesn't mean the grade 4 wont get over it. I put it down to life's lottery. So it is well worth the fight.
@@pragatisingh4619 Hello when you have these issues the older you get the higher the risk. That's why some women opt to have a hysterectomy if they no longer want kids. So it's definitely necessary to stay under the watchful eye of your obgyn to make sure everythings and nothing becomes cancerous
I have a question about the bloating. I feel bloated a lot but I’m not sure if it’s just menopause, along w/my existing belly fat and the new belly fat😩If I can suck my stomach in pretty far so I’m thinking I don’t have the “ovarian cancer bloat”? I also, at times, feel a twing on my left side. At first I thought it was a hernia but now I wonder if it’s my ovary. Anyone else have that as a symptom?
Me too re: bloating, I’m usually quite skinny but I gained some weight after my dad died suddenly (I’m 41). For some reason I began to think my weight gain and tiredness was cancer, and I too have been feeling “twinges” of pain in my pelvic/ovarian area. I still have my period though. Sigh. So afraid to make an appt for fear the doctor will chastise me for gaining weight and laugh because I think it’s cancer. Wishing you the best!
Yes. Bloating and pain; some spotting; huge belly now ….you should probably go to an ob/gyn to get checked. I’m 62 and past menopause and it is very scary.
Totally unexpected, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone. I simply go'ogled Tilly Strankten's Ovarian Cyst Guide and it's like I hit the feel-good reset button lol.

The spasms started several months ago and have gotten progressively worse, including waking her up at night and preventing her from being to work.
I am very sorry to hear this.
How is she doing now? Did she get some answers? Currently waiting on results myself. 🫤
Thank you doc am waiting on my result done three weeks now
All the best
This may be a stupid question but is this cancer on the rise? I had non HPV cervical cancer at 28 my only sister had it too at just 4 months apart. I had a leep (loop electrical excision procedure) my sister had compete hysterectomy as she was done having children and 34 years old. With the history I have and having 2 severe autoimmune diseases that are very painful and do cause extreme fatigue, I am worried because I have many of these symptoms now
That is NOT a stupid question.
Hi
I think you need to teach your fellow doctors and ER in hospitals as I went for years until I told the doctor I needed a CT scan
he did and X-ray and ultrasound and couldn’t diagnose
Finally he did a CT scan and I had large ovarian cyst
I went through a lot of pain and anguish that I wouldn’t have gone through if I had a CT scan years earlier
I just got it this yr at 45 only caught on a ct for ovarian cancer with a bloaded abdomen with ascites n major severe pains n cramps started
Thank you
ladies for posting all your comments they really help and you doc ❤
Any time!
This is an old comment, but you could do ROMA Index (it's the ratio of two other tumor markers) and you don't need a doctor to send you in
@@moononthewindynight27 Thank you I will look into it and see if it’s in my area.
Can you please guide me a little bit? Endometriosis having Solid mass in your case?
Hii sir
Can u tell me that If I have ovary cancer or not
Hints:
There is no growth of bacteria of aerobic incubation in 48hrs at 37°C.
The size of ovary right tumor is 7mm.
Beta HCG :
Thanks for your command is very good to used Doctor.
You are welcome
I'm 53 yr. old and 4 years into menopause and started bleeding again 2 months again. How soon should I be consulting my doctor?
Asap! You shouldn't be bleeding at all if your monthlies stopped 4yrs ago.
@@sensimaniaThanks! I did an appointment, but they won't see me until December, and here's an update: haven't stop spotting since Sept. 28th . A bit scare here. 😬🥺
@@Akennalady I'm sorry 😔. I hope it turns out to be something benign and nothing serious 🙏 💜
Go to an ob/gyn as soon as you can
@@dzyinaz Thanks, I will!

I was told i have a 3cm fibroid an ovarian cyst and a polyps. Am i high risk for cancer?
what was it , i too have the same problem
@@pragatisingh4619 Hello when you have these issues the older you get the higher the risk. That's why some women opt to have a hysterectomy if they no longer want kids. So it's definitely necessary to stay under the watchful eye of your obgyn to make sure everythings and nothing becomes cancerous
@@servantofthekingchosen5961 did you experienced pain from the cyst
is a tumor on a fallopian tube, cancer?
@@Rachel_Ryder all my tests came out fine. Yayyyyyy for that but booo cuz now I know it’s just all belly fat 😭Time to get to work!
Yes. Bloating and pain; some spotting; huge belly now ….you should probably go to an ob/gyn to get checked. I’m 62 and past menopause and it is very scary.
@@dzyinaz got it all checked out now everything is good
Nice
Thanks
Totally unexpected, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone. I simply go'ogled Tilly Strankten's Ovarian Cyst Guide and it's like I hit the feel-good reset button lol.
That’s a lie I’m sorry but it can also affect at ANY AGE. I lost my cousin to ovarian cancer at the age of 35 smh.
Funny how rates have gone up (especially in younger women) since the HPV quackccine was introduced 🙄
Good point

I thought maybe it was the British spelling lol
