LORD I ask that YOU would touch all those who are sick in their bodies. I rebuke diverticulitis and command healing to spring forth. By JESUS stripes they are healed and made whole. LORD I ask that YOU would restore their health and heal them of their wounds. I decree and declare miracles and creative miracles now in JESUS HOLY NAME.

If it hadn't been for diverticulitis I never would have gone to the emergency room and had a CT scan where they found out that I had stage 2 Renal Cancer with a 2.5 centimeter tumor in my right kidney. Last week I had the cancer and part of my kidney removed during a 4 and a half hour sugery. Left undiagnosed they gave me 3 to 4 years to live. So thank you diverticulitis for saving my life! ✌❤

I want to spread the word as someone who has had intensely bad flare ups of diverticulitis. My advice to anyone, no matter your diet. The most important change I’ve made to avoid flare ups is to drink a glass of water before anything first thing in the morning. The water aids digestion, stops blockages, encourages bowel movement. Obviously, drinking water after ever meal would also be ideal, but if you’re too busy just make sure the first thing you put to your lips when you wake up is water. Touchwood I haven’t had any flare ups.

@@agztmarreacts3655 the initial flare up had me withering on the floor in agony. The sort of pain that would have you taken to A&E. I had mine in the right lower quadrant which threw the doctors off at first. Luckily I got a good ER doctor who brought in a surgeon who recognized right away that I was different but still presenting with darvariculitis. I was admitted for 5 days and ultimately ended up having surgery but thankfully not under emergency escaping a stoma. I am so grateful to good care by this team of doctors.

When I went to the ER doubled up in pain, running a 103° fever, I will never forget the first words fron the admitting nurse..."Now understand we don't give pain meds for a stomach ache." Thankfully, the Doctor on call recognized the problem, and saved my life, barely, with emergency surgery. I had full blown sepsis due to ruptured bowel.

I also had this several years ago. I woke up that morning with such pain especially trying to go to the bathroom. My husband took me to the doctors office, they did a scan and found air in my system. Sent me to a surgeon right away. In the mean time, I felt cold, very weak, just wanted to lay down and sleep. That afternoon I was in emergency surgery and woke up with a colostomy bag. Its since been removed, but I have never felt this much pain and I've had two children. Nothing to ignore.

I lost a foot of my large colon from an undiagnosed case of diverticulitis that ultimately burned a hole in my colon and almost killed me. Fortunately it was caught just in time when I had a major attack and I was saved by some great docs in Costa Rica. I should note I had problems with this for years but not once did my Mayo Clinic doctors figure out what I had. The doctor in Costa Rica saw it immediately and he was right! If I heard correctly in this video, it was said that the pain symptom was constant but that was not the case for me when I was diagnosed with it. I had developed a fever during the day and rapidly felt worse during the day with fever and chills. Later that night I had apparently had a seizure and was in the hospital. They ran head to toe test trying to figure what it was. They said I had diverticulitis without the pain symptoms, leading to fever then seizure. It was a blessing that I went to the Dr. that day cause I learned I had a mini-stroke in my past I was unaware of. I am now getting treated for that. Thank you Lord.

This diagnosis has never been presented to me despite numerous tests. I believe it is that simple. It is the DV which is the reason for my symptoms. Thank you!!! Also look up fermented foods. Do you like sour kraut? It's a fermented food. Super easy to make. Tastes nothing like store bought and you only need 2 spoonfuls a day. PACKED with pre & probiotics. So perfect for your digestive track. Anyway, sorry to blab on 😂

I think the common medical information on this is just wrong and that this is not from high fiber diets, just the opposite. I suffered with severe constipation IBS and diverticulitis for years and years. I was told to eat more fiber despite that I was already eating large amounts of fiber. It got worse. What was the medical advice? "eat more fiber". I couldnt have been eating more fiber... nearly my entire diet was fiber and I was taking psyllium fiber and I still got worse. What healed my symptoms was a LOW FIBER meat based diet. Since I changed my diet, ALL my symptoms totally disappeared.

Male doctors sometimes think women are being a hypochondriac or hysterical. They naturally just give a man the benefit of the doubt. And women give birth to babies! There is diet to follow. My situation started by eating everything I should've avoided. Healthy doesn't means its good for you. I was eating kale salads 3 times a week which ferments in your digestive tracts causing bloating. Seeds (poppy and sesame) on breads also block diverticuli, soda also causes bloating. Needed to simply things greatly for a while and resolved my issues. Psyllium husk is the best fiber mix it up in your juice and let it gel up make enough to last a week. Add to smoothies. Drink lots of water. Metamucil causes bloating with the added sugar so stay away from that.

I have this. Since 4-5 years ago. I was in so much pain, I collapsed at work, went Hospital and they gave me stuff for it and kept me in 2 days and if, it hadn't improved were going to operate. I do pancreatic massage and find this helps alot with this and especially if you find it, painful to poo. I also had to change what foods I eat and I can't eat large amounts of meat. I have to cut meat up into very small bits and have a smallish plate of food. I also take co-enzyme q10, selenium and zinc. I have found myself this has really helped and now, I even realize I have it. Sometimes it flares up, but I do a pancreatic massage and it is fine. If you get in pain with this though, go to your Doctor as it is a serious condition. Most people haven't even heard of it and it is bloody painful.

My organs feel MUCH better since i don't take any medication......!
A month ago after 2 months without, i felt very tired. Exausted...blamed it to i didn't get those t4. But it seems i got over it. Recently i noticed i am not tired anymore ! Almost if i am getting normal. That my body has adjust to the normal situation... next month i have appointment in a academic clinic, with a professor in endocrine. In that clinic they can test me better with lab. Like iodine !
I have read 2 books and see a lot on you tube, info internet. If you have a lack of iodine. That improves so much if people take carefully build up supplement iodine. Dr. Mark Sircus, dr. Brownstein, journaliste Lynn Farrow did a total investigation. I am totally convinced!
I bought even iodoral tablets, iodine drops, selenium. Then i heared that clinic can test me on that. It seems when you have a autoimune disorder you can have in the beginning side effects because your body has to get rid off metals or other poisining toxic elements. Normally where iodine has to be in the body, and there is a lack of iodine, those metals toxic elements sits on the place where iodine needs to be! So your body has to detox and get rid of it. Many diseases can be fixed with iodine, even woman with breastcancer or men with prostate problems.
You can buy iodine tests on internet too, that was my plan, because here in regular hospital they dont do those tests!
What is so stupid!!! Because thyoroid hormons are made out off IODINE !!!
I am waiting the result in that academic clinic 1 november, i want those tests. See wath that professor has got for ideas.
The other endocrinologist said you have see it like something is broken in you, wath cant be fixed, only using medicine...😡. I dont believe that !!! I was ALWAYS HEALTHY before 2017 !! Then i was grieving, crying, trauma, of a broken relationship....thén i got ill! Now i feel stronger again, with sometimes still a little dip. But i will overcome it, only my body has to be improved. God is in my life, and he will fix my body and my mind. In that dark time i felt so much stronger with his help. It goes slowly step by step, now already 4,5 years....i feel that my strength increases, i am almost there...
Then i will be like before, energetic, slim, undertaking, happy again, and múch stronger !!! Like dr. Bergman said, your body is the most intelligent construction there is !!!! Human interfering makes us ill !

There seems to be a genetic component as my dad, and his siblings all suffered from this, all having parts of their colons removed eventually. Unlucky as I am, me too, had to go on antibiotics a couple times when it would flare up, doctor always said "Go to emergency room" if I got a fever or felt weak. Didn't listen very well. Years later had a mild heart attack, couple stents, released. Less than 24 hours after getting out of the hospital, my stomach really hurting, I felt weak, was sweating and went to emergency room. I was in bad shape by then and lost consciousness before being wheeled through the door as I couldn't stand by this time. I had gone into sepsis. Emergency surgery at a different hospital with a worried surgery team due my still being loaded with non-reversable blood thinners. I woke up with colostomy bag. Had to wait over a year for reversal due to blood thinners for the cardiac stents. Take it serious if you develop severe pain, fever or weakness.

@@danielalandaverde I don't know of any strong evidence that it has a genetic component. The doctors at the university hospital that treated me described it as seeming to have a family line correlation, but besides genetics it could be diet which tends to run similiar within families or it could be something totally unthought of. There is a lot of speculation that a western diet increases the risk, but I couldn't find anything where they seem to know for sure what causes it, nor could the doctors that treated me.

Mom suffered with this "Disease" more than half a century ago and succumbed after abdominal surgery in Aug 1975. Surgeons cut you wide open to remedy chronic issues. Mom later had a Colostomy in 1972. The patient lost muscle control in the lower ab for some time until healing was effective--not to mention the pain. Mom spent 2 weeks in the hospital for her "Surgeries." Now at 70 I have the old age aspect of Diverticulitis, but at least it is not Colitis which has bleeding. Surgery is more advanced and/or precise, maybe less invasive now? In early 1966 as a teen, I developed lower right quadrant pain. I thought I had Appendicitis, but they said my white blood count was normal. I was constipated and could not eat, missed a week at school. This abated but nothing was determined by the medical pros. It never occurred again after that week.

The surgeon said that it was the worst she's ever seen and had to have a temporary ostomy bag attached to help heal the diverticulitis. Was discharged 3 weeks later and then rushed back to the hospital after having infectious fluid built up from the surgery. They had me on IV antibiotics and finally discharged 5 months later! I've had really bad pain there for 40 years. I'd ask my Dr about it every once in awhile, especially when pregnant. I've asked several Dr's and several specialist. They all say the same thing, there is nothing there, meaning there are no organs, etc to be causing pain. Back then, in my 20's, I knew I had stuff wrong with me, but Dr's. So fast forward 10 years, hypothyroidism... then fast forward another 15 years, Lupus, Sjogrens, Demylanating Disease, 2 kinds of arthritis, etc. Point being, is you might have some kind of autoimmune thing going in and that's what's causing that pain. They literally can take 10, 20, 30 years to diagnose autoimmune stuff. Once I got meds going the pain is gone. You're going to have to find a gun hoe Dr or a rheumatologist to run a FULL blood work up to see. A regular Dr will basically do nothing. It's worth it if your worried or that pain is severe enough. Good luck!
