15Pro here. I go caseless every release as well. I use a screen protector though. I set my phone down on the back and have zero wear on the metal camera rings, and zero hairline scratches on the lenses. I’m insanely ocd to the point where I wipe my phone down with my damp shower towel each day. Then I have a specific tooth brush to keep dust out of the top ear speaker, bottom speaker, charge port, and the areas around the back cameras. You’d think my phone just came out of the box.

The battery life is just passable, fine if you’re a normal user but when I switched to the pro max for the 5x, it was night and day. I would get the pro only if I was selling the phone within 2 years so the battery degradation is someone else’s problem 😂

Nah genuine leather case is the only case for an iPhone it’s shows age and character it’s very good, too bad they removed it. But caseless is the way still but screen protector only to lay the phone down flat and not get any wear.
I'm approximately 6 months in on using my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I've used it caseless during the majority of that six months and I have no regrets/issues. I chose to go caseless because of the design and I like the way it feels in my hand, unlike the iPhone 12 Pro Max I used previously. I did purchase a case but it remains in the box, rarely used. I don't see that changing.
I’m way too clumsy to go case-less. The clear case from Apple works well for my 15 Pro Max. Slippery as hell at first but wears in well. Your phone looks good man. Keep up the great videos.
I'm not clumsy but I like to take good care of my stuff, especially when it's a near $2000 phone. My 13 Pro Max will be 2 in July and it doesn't have a single scratch or dent anywhere. As soon as it was unboxed I had a screen protector and a case on. I like to take my case off sometimes and just look at how brand new it looks still lol
I only use a case at work due to the conditions, but outside of work I just have a tempered glass screen protector on it with an ANDAR leather MagSafe wallet attached to my iPhone 15 pro and that’s it. I have apple care which if my screen front or back breaks it’s only 30 dollars to replace so having that peace of mind allows me to use the phone as it was designed and intended. And that feels so great to hold the engineering marvel that smartphones are.

@@ashleyaumeer5907from what I recall, once you get the phone you have 30 (might be 60, I can’t remember) days to subscribe to Apple care, which you can find in the settings app then tap your name, just do a little browsing and you’ll likely find where you can sign up in there, there’s a 13.99 $ per month version too with loss/theft protection so if it gets lost or stolen then you can get a new phone for much cheaper, granted you pay 14 a month so it’s up to you to weigh the pros and cons

im in the same boat as this guy. refuse to use a case. But I typically damage it to the point of replacement so I get a new one every once in a while when it’s not repairable for only $99
For anyone wants good grip, i would suggest you to get Spigen Athlex case. It has sandstone like finish which is very helpful for the gripping the phone.
I started going case less with a screen protector and ESR MagSafe wallet with my 15 Pro Max. Just upgraded to the 16 Pro Max with the same set up. I’ve found the 16 Pro Max to be a lot more grippy.
First time going case less and I do enjoy it. However, I dont like the heat that you feel. Its not crazy hot but its noticeable imo. Thinking of getting that Benks Aurora case, just to prevent any scratches.
Caseless with a matte film screen protector and gloss clear film protector for the back to give some grip.. no added weight or thickness like a tempered glass protector and the best feeling screen (soft matte smooth touch and pro motion 120hz) Thank me later
I always keep a case on my phone personally because when i had my XS MAX my little niece dropped my phone and it shattered back and front i didnt have a case on it at the time so i always wear a case and next thing is i dont like scratches at all 4:44

However my 15 Pro Max Natural Titanium has more scratches than your 15 Pro. super interesting how that came to be

Case and screen protector for me 💯. Honestly it boils down to a matter of convenience. I’d rather spend 30 bucks and 30 seconds on a case and screen protector than have to deal with going out of my way to warranty the phone.
The screen is supposed to be Ceramic Shield but my god it scratches sooo easily. I was warned to put on a screen protector immediately and I didn’t listen so I got my consequences of scratches 😐

About getting insurance like apple care plus. In my currency of Sweden Apple care is 3000 SEK for two years and replacing screen, worst case scenario, is 4500 SEK. I am so glad I went with regular Pro after 12 and 14 PM. Not getting apple care and I am going case less all day. If I am lucky I save 3000 SEK and unlucky I pay 4500. One USD is about 11 SEK. Cheers

You’re taking a big risk on your investment for the sake of wanting to feel the titanium material. I highly suggest you put one on when you’re not using your phone. Going caseless will certainly scratch up your phone.

These phones cost enough with the technology we have today they shouldn’t break from a 8 foot or less drop. Shouldn’t scratch in your pocket either. We got bullet proof glass and can’t make a phone that won’t break falling from pocket or head height? I drop it off the 2nd floor or higher I get it. Falling out of your pocket or dropping while talking should not break your phone.
It is idiotic to let the screen get damaged and scratched and also have scratches on the body. Little use of logic will tell one to protect this expensive phone unless it is someone like you who could probably afford to damage the phone and replace it whenever.

Agreed. Caseless is the way to go. To me putting plastic, TPU, or even leather on the phone ruins the feel and overall elegance of the phone.

No. Never used a Screen protector and the oleophobic Layer is still Fine.
