@@emsvisualsno, not all the recent iPhones do these. For example the 14 pro / pro max doesn’t do that camera stuff and it doesn’t have the button. My brother has the 14 pro max so I’ve had a chance to see what it does. I just upgraded mine from a iPhone 13 to the 16 pro max and not only is the camera different, the 16 pro max also has a bigger screen than previous pro max iPhone models.

i made the switch first iphone since #4. Happy with it all just misasing 3 things to make it perfect. Missing the ability to easily transfer music via pc (file). Missing the side bar and also missing swiping up to bring up the app screen. I like having a blank home screen and not having any dots at the bottom showing i have other screens
Jumping ship from android to iphone due to security reasons and finally the switch to USB c sold me. And the airtag network is insanely convenient when you travel a lot! I've had an android since the HTC g2 and only one iphone (12) for work. Always disliked the iphone but cannot pass up the 16 pro!

I just got the iPhone 16 pro max. It’s great for the most part. Screen is very fragile compared to other earlier models. Never even dropped it and I have pretty good size cracks. Not sure how it happened but I’ve only had it a day. I now have to get the screen replaced 😢
Hide distracting items is available for all iPhones. I had it on my iPhone 12 Pro Max already before upgrading to 16. Same for mirroring. This isn't restricted to newer phones.

I bought the pro model and the only thing I didn't like were the cases it came with, they seem of poor quality.
I pre-ordered the Vionentus Elites for that same reason and apart from the fact that these are made of leather
