After almost 2 years without flying. I needed this. Many thanks for making the video.
And Thank you for your kind words. I am glad it helped 😊
Tomorrow I'll start recurrent since June 2020... I was flying emb145 last 13 months but I have opportunity to return to a320 but not much ground training but self taught and this kind of videos.. so.. thanks for let everyone keep in track about changes with good quality videos. (Supports and clarify official information).
Very helpful, thanks! We do a few things differently, but I'm pretty sure it is Airbus procedure ADIRS to NAV right after either ext pwr ... on or APU depending on when you start it.
Yeah, you need it for the ACARs init.
Incredible video, very high quality.
Thank you
Thank you so much I really appreciate it😊👍
One of best videos seen so far! thank you
Really appreciate your kind words. Thank you so much I'm glad you like it 😊👍🏻
Very nice video. Was a great help during this major change in 320 procedures.
Also the graphics and annotations are simply superb. 👍
Hey thank you so much. Really appreciate it 😊🙏🏻
Excellent, thanks for sharing. 2 days looking for a video LIKE THIS, and THIS is the first 🤘
Great job
Cheers
So glad you liked it. Appreciate it Thank you 😊👍🏻
Thanks for the video, very helpful
Thank you very much. Cheers 😊
The best tutorial. Thank you for explaining it in detail.
My pleasure. Thank you very much :)
Amazing Thank you!
Pleasure Harold. Thank you too :)
Wow thank you !
Pleasure 😊 I'll post the Approach/ landing part in a couple of days 👍🏻
hi, in our procedure, it is the PM who does the ADIRS...NAV during the prelimary cockpit preparation. Also for the lineup checklist, our PM sets the TCAS to TA/RA as the first step as it is indicated in the FCOM to check the approach path including the ND for traffic so there's no other way to check the ND of traffic if the TCAS is off :) but overall, you did a great job 👏👍
Oh right right. And yes TCAS is with the pm only, did I mention PF does it?? I am sure I didn't.. but if I did my bad 😄 🤟🏻😁
hello from indonesia, great content and precise for the new airbus SoP flow
Thank you so much, really appreciate it :)
Super thanks a lot
Thanks a lot you too :)
Nice video. Thanks
But there are some differences with actual or new SOPs , for instance ADIRS and cockpit lights. But anyway is very good one.
Thank you
Ad we got the hell of the ground.
Nice video! What program did you use to edit and insert text boxes?
I use Movavi for all the editing, been using it for a long time now :)
This is on point!! Are you an a320 pilot?
Thank you and Yes i am 😊 have flown 737s and 787s as well.
thank you for the video but in QRH, you should start All ADIRS to nav when you pass the APU start, but you skipped and did it after preliminary performance determination? Is there any particular reason for doing this?
Good observation. I was just following the task sharing flow as it is to keep it simple. Might be few differences as per company
Finnair has had a similar checklist for over 10 years
Wow really? Was it approved by Airbus I wonder.
@@yourvirtualcockpit it was. The company has operated the 320 since 1999 and has never had an after takeoff checklist, or the line concept. The new factory checklist is practically identical to Finnair.
Why did you select on the EVAC panel Capt/Purs?
Why not Capt only?
Company to company different rules. Its like this in mine
Agreed 100%,,
But why is it they choose Purs\Capt and not Capt Only?
Why Airbus gives that option? How do Boeing pilots evac without this option?
@@capt.shukri Well the highest priority for Evacuation is PICs command on PA system. On 787s theres an Evac switch on the centre pedestal but company policy had given the authority to the cabin crew incharge to initiate Evacuation if necessary and in time critical situation if no command has been received from the PIC. On 737s there wasn't an dedicated switch in the cockpit, it was only PIC command via PA system. Airbus on the other hand gave a switch for bothways and asked the operator to use it the way they need
@@capt.shukri Some company will want only PIC to initiate ("Capt only" switch) and will have set of training and regulations for the cabincrew that ways.
I love three twenty but I already gave you some of my time my united and American and Alaskan. I love you fat ass Airbus I miss you a lot my Love Airbus. At least I stay in my aircraft decisions.
Which is this simulator?
Microsoft Flight simulator 2020. New one coming up soon though
APU doesnt react to HI or LO …its automatic.
Yes you are right 😊👍🏻and that's what I mentioned I guess
@@yourvirtualcockpit yes you are correct. You said it correctly. Sorry
@@jasper_north no harm done partner 😊👍🏻
See how ground humans are there then we went to the one that no ground crew was there and the radio tower was not communicating on all frequencys the platform was there but the humans weren't you see know. Way to get off that platform and get back in grid the fuel station worked we had to weight for fuel to caught up. Like a Stephen king movie lang aliuers movie
