When calling positive rate, gear up, I sometimes hear the Pilot monitoring saying "Positive rate" and then the Pilot flying saying "gear up" but other times it's switched and PF says"positive rate" and PM says "Gear up". Do you know why?

Well ideally it's only the PMs job to call out 'positive rate' after confirming on the altimeter (NOT VSI) since the PF has rotated and is concentrating on the the pitch part and PF calls out gear up
What you must have seen either looks like the times when the PM must have forgotten the call so PF did it OR maybe you are talking about left/right seat where the PIC must have been PM from the left seat and it looked like it was the other way
