    You have an incredible ear for tone. And an excellent taste in guitars and music. Not to mention your impeccable playing style. Keep it up. Can't tell you how many times I've watched your den spanska känslan cover. Any tips on figuring out all the nuances of this type of song by ear, or especially figuring out where the pitch shift automations are?

      Thank you so much! My advice is to train your ear. learn how every note on the fretboard sounds and quiz yourself on different notes across the fretboard!

    I personally use the pod farm, big bottom with all the knobs dimed and the ryan harvey ir in the tse x50 plugin, thats spot on with some eq

    • @richmit7154
      @richmit7154 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      okay so i have some improvements, i was wrong almost all of it, so ill break down this tone.
      first in the chain some compression to control the overall peaks of the guitar (since both buster and calle are very dynamic guitar players, this will help). after that some eq BEFORE the amp, no boosting level, just some eq boosting some high mids and highs, and the amp i used in my cover of kanslan was the invasion amp by vadim taranov, i acomplished to basically copy vild guitar tone for free by comparing the pod farm chain and my custom chain, the cabs that got me closer to the tone were the Brutal 3 / Brutal 14 on the Airis Digital free ir pack, after that some eq and just there you got the vildhjartas guitar tone completely FOR FREE

    1:48 where can I find this Andy Sneep trick? And bro, I might be able to hook you up with a cracked version of pro MB if you want it

    • @PierceAkers
      @PierceAkers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      lots of videos from nolly and misha walkthroughs explain it! it’s mainly jus to compress the palm mutes so that it doesn’t overwhelm other instruments such as the drums and bass! Hope this helps

    What's the benefit to loading the IR through GGD vs within Nameless?

    • @PierceAkers
      @PierceAkers  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      there's no real benefit. I think i was trying out the cabs in that plugin, and then probably jus decided to load my own in and was happy with the results!

      Unfortunately my pickups (juggernauts) produced a drastically different tone with these exact settings. Waaay less drive, too much low end. Gotta start over. Thanks again for the info though!

    I like how organized your track names are. Have great labeling for everything. Was wondering what "Rythm C" is? i'm guessing center. I never thought of making a rythm center track though I guess that would make alot of sense for highlights and such. Great video!

    How do you make your feedback nonexistent? When i play a crazy tone like that my guitar feedback is insane. Theres always that crispy sound when i stop playing, with you it just vanishes. Tell me your magic

    • @PierceAkers
      @PierceAkers  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      could be a few things. my noise gate is set pretty high but not superrr cranked as the gate in the fortin plugins are great. don’t use as much gain as you’d think. Play with the gate depending on what pickups you’re using (more for single coils and less for humbuckers). Also make sure your playing is tight too as in your palm muting, muting and frethand muting. hope this helps!
