PhlyDaily, you’ve gotten me through a lot of hard times in my life. Last summer my grandpa who lived with me and my family all my life, died of pancreatic cancer (which we only found out he had a week before he died). My mom was devastated because he was her last living family member since her mom and sisters had passed away. We ended up losing our house of 11 years shortly after his death, and things seemed like it kept going down hill. But through it all, I tried to find things to help me distract myself and make the days a little easier. I fell in love with military history and studying World war 1 and 2 since I was 6 years old and watching your channel, brings out the little kid in me. I love all the energy you bring to the channel and every episode being absolutely more exciting than the last. Thank you for who you are and you’re channel. I’d love to make you a scaled plastic model of a tank or an aircraft sometime !!!!

Plus my mother is having a mental breakdown. He has keep me going on alot. Stay safe mate. A day where you dont need to think about these will come. Stay strong.

Looks like I'm playing Russian tonight to avoid everyone now using the Yak.
I actually dreamt last night they added the F-117 Nighthawk at 9.0 and it was a blast, invisible to radar if the bay doors are closed, reduced detection range and on night maps impossible to find without blind hunt. it worked really well as it was able to sneak in, bomb base and sneak out.
These type of videos I enjoy the most, when you showcase some looked over vehicle/plane and talk through how to play it and make it effective. This one I missed and I need to try it!

My brother had the "IS-2 Revenge" and he loved it, I took out the tech-tree one to a few battles when i got it (god knows how long ago now), but like yours truly i was so disappointed to its gun's "performance" that i never touched it again, and just skipped it; so I'd take a Tiger any day!
It is exactly the same as the IS2 at 5.7 but is 6.3, even with that its one of my favourite USSR vehicles.
@@Piesy001 Actually its a IS-2 (1944) - not much difference tough to give it a +0.6 BR - but back than the T-10 was the top tank in the game (yes we were playing since planes BETA)!
@@TomPrickVixen Yes mate, I have the Revenge and have almost 400 battles in it. I have nearly a 2:1 K:D. Just saying I really enjoy it. It is, or almost is, my most used USSR vehicle. I can find no difference between the 5.7 and the 6.3's except the 1944 has the cage and a mg, the Revenge doesn't even have them. Same gun, rounds, armour, engine, speed. They should be the same BR's.
@@TomPrickVixen how is the gun performance bad? That 122mm is an advantage over everything else.
@@ii_dynasty Simple : when u can't kill someone on 1 shot, and u can't hide till the loooooong reload (like in the video), u wont get a 2nd shot (your target can replace the gunner and even do minor repairs till that time). And from a gun that large cal. + the shell's explosive charge the only acceptable performance is a 1 hit, 1 kill!
That's why i don't like the "CA Lorraine" 2/3 times you would need a 2nd shot, do to the solid shells, but u need 16 sec to reload, and u don't even have the armor!

I think the IS-2 is good where it's at. It has good mobility espacially reverse, and a gun that can just pen panthers and tigers upper front plates at ridiculous angles. It's armor isn't the best but it can do the job.
hey phly the yak 9k actually got an armored targets belt for its 45 mm cannon and is really nice for cas with 63mm of pen
