I really miss LP. Thank you Nat. Looking forward to returning soon. Oh and you are NOT old. You enjoy lower volume music where you can carry on meaningful conversations. Utopia looks so nice along the river bank. Clubbing is not our scene anymore.
Thanks, Nat, for taking us on a tour of Luang Prabang night life! I didn't realize how extensive it was. There is something for just about anyone. I'm glad that you showed places where both tourists and locals hang out. The restaurant off of Nam Khan River looked very quaint and charming. The Khmu tradition clothing was very beautiful too. It's great to learn about all the ethnic cultures in Laos. Thanks again and have a great weekend!
Thank you very much for always for being so supportive. This means the world to me.🙏🙂😊 I am glad you enjoyed this tour. One of the many good things about this little town is there are places for those looking for different experiences, from local prices to high end. Like the Cafe I mentioned, a cup of coffee costs 100,000 that is the London price. But again, there are people who can afford it.😊
Thanks for sharing the nightlife in your city. Nat. Many hangout places at night. Lao used to a colonial country? Is it easy to apply for a long time visa?
I am glad you enjoyed the night tour. Yes Laos was colonized by the French for many years. Fully gained its independence in 1953. For the visa, Lao government offers multiple visa options for foreigners looking to making Lao a long term home. Investment visa and retirement visa as well as work visa is some of them.
Can you talk about the cannabis situation in Laos? From what I understand it's illegal but not usually enforced. Vang Vieng seems to be particularly tolerant.
It's illegal but people are selling it. If you live in town for a long time you'll know where to get them. I am not sure if I can talk openly about it.
I forgot to mention that his restaurant is unfortunately too close to the temple. It shares a border with the temple wall, so as he mentioned that I'd like to do a Lao dancing show that would include creating the noise pollution, that would be hard to get the permit.
Personally , I would have absolutely NOTHING to do with the French , I wouldn't even give them the time of day , let alone helping them by giving them some free advertising , I think they have a cheek to even be in Lao , , I live in Vietnam & here they are told exactly what the people think of them , considering what they did to the country & how they treated the poor , innocent people , I had to leave it there & not finish the Vid .. so annoying .. horrible people ..
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will enjoy other videos. Regarding history, it is hard to look back to learn what happened during the colonial. Sadly we can't go back and change it, only to forgive and make peace with it.
@@natnomad Hey , We all have our opinions & I respect you point of view , you seem like a cool guy but you are also a young one , the French will always be an obnoxious & arrogant people , its in their blood , just look what they did recently to the Olympics & being English our history with France will never be good , if you really get to know them like I have then you will learn that their inferiority complex manifests itself in many unsavoury way , this is in part , to being beaten & having their country invaded 3 times by the Germans , kicked out of Algeria ,morocco , lao , Cambodia , Vietnam etc., like I said , they are conceited pretentious & superficial , they are also cowards ... anyway , enough , I do watch your other vids .. I subbed awhile ago let me know if you reach Nha Trang or if you go back to Africa I can give you some good info I lived in Zambia & Zimbabwe for many years .. Easy Brother

Those bars near Namhkan River look great. We totally missed them even though we were staying nearby last week. Next time!
It is nice and quite hidden. I've heard it from my brother and my friends so I checked it out. I should come back to out.

Poor owner. They come twice already. Only one important item were missing, a big envelope full of 100$ bills ...
