I use a new sanding disc every time. Honestly, I might have tried to save and reuse if I weren't making videos 😅 I would use a wet brush and clean them before using on another rock, though. Especially if the rocks are different levels of hardness. Thank you very much! We are always learning, and we enjoy sharing what we learn!
Haven't seen anything from you for awhile. Haven't got on Discord yet, life got busy lol. Wanted to ask a question about the sandpaper if you even use the "dry" sandpaper with H2O drip? Kit came with wet& dry . Curious is all. Still hoping to get on Discord soon but getting ready for rock Club Christmas party, being creative lol... Take care & Happy Holidays
Hi! I've got a video I'm working on now that's almost done. Hopefully just a few more days! The discs we use are for wet or dry use. I've used them both ways but I prefer using them with water. Just let us know when you're ready for the invite! Happy holidays! Take care as well ☺️
@thebroadhouse Coolio can't wait for new video! Glad to hear that & that you haven't disappeared! Lol. Thank you for answer on sanding disc paper cuz that's what I actually was thinking wet also. Heeheehee working on a small down draft table & also lapidary well with drip system but takes time to get them all together & functioning correctly. Lol yes will let ya know hopefully soon. & You take care also. Happy Holidays 🤗😎☮️⛏️
@@thebroadhouse Thanks for the reply. I'm just learning and watching lots of videos. I'm glad I found your channel. Have you considered sintered bits for shaping?
So amazing!!
thank you! 😊
Nice👍 good job
Thank you!
잘봤어요 멋지네요👍🏻
Thank you 😄
How many sanding discs you end up using for each grit? Nice videos btw, love your channel, I am learning a lot!

@Howlin-SnowolfMo6 I hope you share pictures of all these cool projects when you get Discord 😎
I am curious why you dont use a flexible extension on your dremel? Is it easier to hold the dremel itself while shaping?
I've never heard of that, but I will look into it! Thanks for the suggestion 😁
About how long did this take?
About 4 hours
how many weeks that take to do with that dremel?
😂
Why low speed for shaping?
Good question! High speed is rougher and is more likely to cause fractures and it wears the bits down faster.

@ethanwalker7865 No, I haven't! Do you have experience with them?
