I saw on another video recently - you can release flares from the combat collective in the flight pilot seat by holding onto the combat collective, and then holding the trigger and then pressing the flares button. You need to make sure to pull the trigger to have it work
You CAN ripple Hellfires, so long as you leave enough time between missles to aquire a nee target and the in-flight missles have room to maneuver. The laser guided rockets are the most numerous guided weapon any craft can carry by far.
For whatever reason the TADS zoom on the gunner seat doesn't work with my Samsung Odyssey. At first I thought maybe the thumbpad was busted, but it works fine with the same controls for the trim control. It's annoying because I have to take my hand off of the controls to manually push the zoom in and out on the MFD.
Ah that's normal, the pilot seat can't zoom the TADS with controls beside the zoom button or in headtrack. Only the gunner with the double controls in the middle can zoom normal
@@DrMedWurst275 Oh yeah I mean to say that I'm having that zoom issue in the gunner seat, I just default to the pilot seat because of the gunner issue.
@@DrMedWurst275 Took me a while to finally get in the mood to get back in VR to check but I finally did. Turned on the TADS, selected it as SOI, and turned on controller tooltips but even with the weapons armed and the 'zoom' showing up on my right thumb pad, I still could not zoom. Took the same right controller and used the thumbpad on the virtual left controller and it worked so the thumbpad isn't busted. Not sure why I'm still barking your ear off about this, I should go into the Discord and see if anyone else is having this issue xD
Not great. screen shaky fingers pointing to things you cant see. all the VR videos are terrible in this aspect. Oh well. Maybe once I dont need to watch these tutorial videos it will make more sense to me. Gonna figure it out on my own and come back and gain some knowledge for this video.

Hmm, that sounds really weird, is it broken in the HEAD Track mode aswell?
@@DrMedWurst275 I'll have to give that a shot again soon, can't recall if I've tried that because I've mostly just been gunning from the pilot seat.
