No, not in this game. The mark option in the TGP is only for night missions where it enables an infrared beam that can be seen when you deploy your NVG (night vision gear) That is the only purpose in the current game version

Didn't you forget to switch "Mark" to "on" for the laser bomb? Isn't it torning on a laser?
