I’m a life long gamer, and I’m about to be 33 soon. I’ve set massaged my hands for years because that area of my palm feeling overworked. Using your hands to massage your hands has never felt very effective though. However, trying this immediately provided so much relief and satisfaction that I can’t imagine going back. Thank you for this, and I’ll spread the world. Simple, and amazing🔥

Had to laugh - me too I'm 60 ! I started on Donkey Kong, Space Invaders and Pac Man in the bars and arcades. My thumbs are a wreck, I had come to suspect my gaming was to blame. I just found this and am pumped to try it.

I want to thank you for this excellent video. I searched around for many different things that I thought were the cause of the pain in this "thumb pad" or "meat" of the thumb / index area of my hands and nothing really hit on what was wrong until I found yours. I'm a 46 year old active guy and former mechanic so tightly gripping tools and things over the years has caused these symptoms I think. Just a single session of using a hard rounded surface and massaging those areas literally made the pain I've been dealing with for years vanish like magic. Sir, again - I cannot thank you enough!

Same! A single day of overzealous wrenching of bike wheels and accessories caused this for me - then every time I used a screwdriver it returned … more permanently and I lost use and strength of my thumb
All the other vids said it was De Quervains syndrome - IT IS NOT! The pain is all in the palm / base of thumb meat not the side tendons or tendinitis.

Thank you so much for this video! I have had sore thumb meat for a many years now. Both hands! Searched for relief, for a long while! Bought all the hand massagers, sent them all back!
I didn’t have a small ball, but I searched and found a small round rock which is my new “pocket rock”. Carry it with me and grind my thumb whenever needed!
Again, sincerely thank your for this ❤

Your the first person to treat THIS (instead of de quervains tendinitis) - your video is the only thing that helped. Some others made it worse!
But it happened from a single day of wrenching bolts and using a screwdriver more than my hand was used to. Then never went away because of scar tissue. I spent months in a thumb brace and was told to text less 🙄 took the brace off it flared up immediately as the scar tissue and correct trigger points had not been treated.

I have had pain in this thumb area for about 5 years I've gotten cortisone shots in the thumb the past 3 years.. they're starting not to work. Finally decided to check on TH-cam, watched this video, try your technique I wished I had seen this years ago because it really helped a lot the first time I did this with pressure on the painful areas. Not perfect yet but I don't have to wear a thumb brace. Thank you for taking the time to teach us this technique. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it 💕

I’ve been doing a lot of mechanic work and it’s been causing my thumb to cramp when i have to unthread a loose bolt or nut. But when I started working as a welder, welding all day and using the grinder causes it not only to cramp, but now I wake up with numb hands and also while driving my hand (or hands) that hold the steering wheel goes numb.

I tuck my other hand's thumb and used the knuckle as the ball. And boy when you find the right spot does it hurt.

I tried this with a 20 sided dice, it works once I found the spots but it's harder to roll around to find the pain points. For my fellow tabletop gamers, this could work as a temporary measure if your don't have a ball handy.

Which low vitamin causes that ?

It’s related to repetitive overuse. Not vitamin deficiency.

Last night my thumb hurt so much and I didn’t want to take pain medicine, I did this as described in video and now I’m pain free! I’m taking my little ball everywhere from. Is on! (It’s my son’s nerf gun battle ball)
