You say that in jest, But some of the scientists on the Manhattan project weren't sure if the first atomic bomb they were designing and building wouldn't cause a chain reaction that would ignite the atmosphere when the bomb was detonated. They weren't 100% certain that the blast couldn't split the air's atoms and start an expanding ring of fire that would sweep across the earth, burning off ALL the planets oxygen, until the flame front met again at the far side of the planet......... But even the physicists who thought it might well destroy all life on the globe continued to work on the project...... FOR SCIENCE !!!!

two things i find... strange. 1. WHY does the suit know what the hivehand or snarks even are? 2. WHY does gordon have the crowbar before the incident? So he can just have a weapon and no one cares? Whaa....
The hivehand and snarks were just supposed to be a little easter egg thing, and a crowbar is a tool, not necessarily a weapon.
well I cant really blame anyone. And in my opinion the crowbar is a bit odd but its fine. Oh btw is the HEV suit helmet in the black mesa content pack? I'd like to know.
No, I imported the helmet from Gmod.
Agreed, even the cut beta suit announces when they're carried "Unidentified bio-weapon"
And BTW this character model uses the pre-2015 suit which is different from the one seen when Gordon opens it up, the newer one is available in BM's multiplayer with the helmet.
Ive seen alot of things here, 1st, TF2 Easter eggs, 2nd, the last episode, Gordon had company or scientists with him otherwise, and now he went inside alone.

-less camera panning, its a little dizzying
-less distance blur/depth of field, its distracting and is conflicting with the camera panning.

1- Alyx worked in black mesa when half-life 1 happened. It's been explained on HL2
2- Ivan the biker was a nice easter egg haha
3- That HEV suit's probably got a serial number or an ID badge. So yeah recognizing a long term college must be easy

As you can see, I love putting easter eggs in things, and once everything goes to heck in black mesa, it will be harder to put them in. but keep an eye out for them nonetheless.

It's a good SFM. Maybe in the future, you could make a proper Black Mesa SFM. Like: Original characters (example: At the lobby, the scientist and the guard at the reception, Dr. Erik Sigurdson and Murtaugh.), no games mixed, proper grammar and etc. I am not complaining, it's a good SFM. But I hope we can get a remastered one in the future as I said before.
That is the plan eventually. But for now I'm finally back to working on episode 4.

12:08 I'm disappointed that the scientist who barges into the observation room saying, "What's he doing in there?????" wasn't included as Gordon was pushing that in!!!!!! Even though it's never clarified who that is, and nothing is ever mentioned of it again, I FEEL LIKE IT'S SOMEHOW CRITICALLY IMPORTANT TO THE STORYLINE!!!!
It looks promising, but you might need a bigger writing team. Some parts could be left out, like the scientist smallchat, but scenes such as the bullsquid encounter should be included.
I don't have a writing team. I do all this on my own. Also, I'm doing the Black Mesa version, which doesn't have the bullsquid encounter, just the vortigaunts.
Bummer, the canonical version had a lot more charm to it. Oh well, best of luck to you on your endeavours.

For the intro sequence I would advise you try to make each model's walking animation out of sync from eachother so it looks more natural than all of them looking robotic and walking in sync.

Me either. Unfortunately, episode 3 will be delayed, simply because school has taken up more time than anticipated. However, I currently have more than 50% of the episode completed, and I am working very hard on it.
