    To answer some of the gear questions;
    The tent is the Snow Peak Hexa Ease 1.
    The fire pit is the Snow Peak Pack and Carry Fire Place - Large size.
    The coffee filter holder is the SOTO Helix Coffee Maker.
    The pants that I was wearing are the Fjallraven Barents Pro Trousers.
    If anyone has a question, shoot me an email.
    - Luke

    I had to watch this again, Luke..great video! Car camping is so relaxing and really stress free...no weight restrictions, no worries about so many things that backpacking can present. There's an added element of safety that car camping presents. It's quite easy to stow away a rifle or a shotgun. Even with a concealed license there is always that element of what mood the law enforcement officer is in and what state you are traveling in. That may be an unfair assessment or statement but stuff happens. The Snow Peak tarp is awesome and that fire pit would be a great addition to my gear list. On my last two car camping adventures I found it extremely easy to make reservations during the week; weekends were completely booked. My "piece of the rock" is located in the southwest corner of Colorado and I am able to travel there two to three times a year. Eventually my wife and I will have the opportunity to snowbird between Colorado and Florida (or Maui if things work out). That knife you used for food prepping looked like an Opinel No. 8. Great knife!

    Hey, Luke, I take number 12 or 10 copper wire and wrap it around the axe handle just below the axe head to do 2 things. To protect the handle from the lumber hitting it and also it has helped strengthen the axe handle. I wrap at least 6 to 10 inches down the handle. Than I wrap it with tape, it also seems to take out a lot of the vibration which will help your hands. Something I learned from Scouting.

    I love the cooking parts of your videos. That is one thing I struggle with when camping 😁

    Awesome video. It reminds me of another favorite TH-camr I like to watch, Hiro Channel. He uses a lot of the Japanese camping gear Snow Peak. Very cool.

    In other videos you set up your tarp and cook at a fair distance from your tent. You have advised that it was important to protect your shelter and keep the fire far away from the tent.
    I love this set up - looks mid century modern! However, it goes against your previous advice about keeping the fire far from the shelter.
