Rules explanations/clarifications/mistakes:
1. At 48:30, For activating Xaxos: Outcast's ability, I misinterpreted how that interacted with the player ability. It will not active the players special ability, just effects that would trigger when the players ability would trigger ... which would only happen with Treasure Cards from other sets. Unfortunately, I didn't figure this out until after my next play.
I was mentally screaming at my iPad when it became clear you forgot about that first minion. More than once you didn’t activate an ability when the nemesis damaged you. You kept doing it only when you damaged yourself. I love how creative this game is and how they manage to make every nemesis a completely different experience. Great play as always! Thanks for the constant flow of Aeon’s End and Marvel Champions!
lol. Trying to remember how this game works after so many marvel games. I love the “ears” for this minion.

We chose the same Level 1 treasure. That is the best by far, especially with Taqren. Good pick!

Thanks, man! You saved me. I found that rules book isn’t really that obvious on a few terms, was confused with a couple of things: turn order cards in solo-mode (how you figured out that there has to be 4 player cards?); a few keywords on cards; didn’t really get how power cards are working from the first try.
I even started to hate the game, but you saved it)

I bought Aeon's End New Age and got it yesterday, your previous videos convinced me to get it and im loving it! :) I was wondering if you had any advice in terms of strategy? I beat Maggoth without too much problem but not really knowing what i was doing. Then Arachnoss i BARELY beat and again i dont really know what type of strategy i should be using! . Im playing with 2 mages if that makes a difference.
@Jorge Marcano Thanks for watching, and glad you are enjoying the game so far! In this game, I'm always looking for ways to open breaches quicker, and destroy starter cards from the deck. Then it's finding a nice balance between enough spells for your open breaches and money for charges and better cards. Hope that helps, and good luck! :)
That is a great game because there is no only one strategy to win. For example, you have to ways to beat a Nemesis: take it down to 0 health or cycling his entire deck without losing. And that is a completely different way to play! Now with Outcasts, you've got another option, another strategy available: using Xaxos. And that too gives a big replayability. It's why I love Aeon's end so much and love it better with Outcasts, the better AE so far.
Two mages is more difficult than one. You get more turns...which really changed things.

Not convinced by the relic you chose. As you said, you destroy a cristal, wich is goodfor better deck recycling, but to not get the money... The problem is that you need money during all the game. We make very different choices. And you chose not to replace the Twisted fangs. I did. (Another difference is that I played with 2 mages, then my supply strategy was different). And the gem that gives charges to Xaxos is an auto-include for me. Excellent card.
@Reinaldo Gomez Larenas So many choices, and different paths to victory (or losing). That's one of the great things about this game! :)
And I may be mistaken, but I think that the expedition rules don't apply to the Outcast's campaign. The problem is that there is no rules about this campaign in any of the 2 booklets. New Age was different: like in Legacy, the cards tell what to do with the supply. I think they have forgotten that point.
They barely touched on it, so I can see this being very confusing if it's the first box a person buys.

@@reinaldogomezlarenas5872 Haha. I was probably thinking I might have accidentally moved it and put it where I thought it should be, just in case. But with my brain, it's hard to tell what I was thinking, or if I was even thinking. ;)
@@DaletheCasualGamer I think I also forget a lot if things during my playthrough. It can be during a game of Aeon's end or Marvel Champions. And I'm not making a video of it, only playing. The problem is when I win and I have a doubt of what I did well or wrong, what I forgot or not...
turn order in FFG leftover sleeves?
@Matus Sedlak lol ... yes, I didn't swap out all my games with Dragon Shields, just Marvel Champions. And I still have a large amount of FFG sleeves to still use. :)
Outcasts is for me the best Aeon's end ever. It is nearly perfect. All the Nemeses are great, the cards are great, Zhana and Taqren rock, the history is good...The only default of the game are the twins mages, wich are weaker than the mother and her son.
@Reinaldo Gomez Larenas I'm liking the mechanics of the Nemeses, and probably missed out on some abilities by going true solo ... but Taqren seems very powerful solo, especially with the cards provided in this set for the supply. Hopefully he can make mama Z'hana happy. :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer Taqren is perfect for solo games! And the cards of the first market are very good. I kept 4 of these cards during the whole campaign, beating each Nemeses without defeats ( with Zhana and Taqren). It's an excellent ratio for first cards!
I just finished the expedition, and I don't want to spoil anything ... so. ;)

Surprised that you didn't choose the 5 cost gem, wich is better than the 6 cost gem.

@Jirayu Aiumphattanathum Thanks for watching! He was the one that jumped out at me after opening the box, and used for the whole campaign. And yes, with his powers and a certain card in the supply ... it was a very powerful combination. I've also heard his mother (can't recall her name right now) is also very powerful. Have you played using the other two in the set? Which is your favorite?
