When the Aeons End art sings it really sings. Those cards look amazing.
It has come miles from where it started. This looks amazing! I do wonder how the box is not better with what's inside.
Super excited for the Friends and Foes module in this campaign! Even more modularity
Definitely my favorite thing in here (though people who already find the game a bit much to run might not love it!)
Nice thing about Developing cards is one player can develop the card and a different player compete the development to gain the card.
... and often time they have amazing abilities for developing.

@@tttopolisI forget which relic it was but it granted a charge. If there were two copies being developed it also healed. This was just ridiculous in a couple of plays.
Thanks Mike. This was fun to watch. I know there is a lot of Aeon's End content out there but its one of my favorite games and hits the table often!

If they’ll send me a copy I’ll make time 😜 I’m not a big enough aeon’s end/astro knights fan to track them down. I also didn’t love the original aeon’s end legacy, though I know that’s a much more simplistic experience than what you are suggesting

Hmm, I don't remember the original Legacy as well, but I've always been one to like to play as actual characters in a story rather than a generic character that is supposed to represent you and that is the main difference b/w Legacy and Legacy of Gravehold that I recall. I also liked where the story went with a civil war in Legacy of Gravehold. They've done a good job at the build up of the world and the characters. It's kinda neat to look back at the first Aeon's end box and see all these fresh young faces and then look at the most recent one's and see how they've changed into older, battle hardened veterans.
one of the best channels, i love the explanations, and what is remarkable is that you see every comments and you reply or put a heart or like on almost every comment, that is very remarkable and distinguish you from other channels where they don't interact with any comment

Descent reveals a lot about the plot I guess. Will it be a decent to an underground place to fight the final boss, or will it be descent to the place where demons come?🤔
After I filmed the video, they told me it was a prequel to the original, about how they found gravehold or something.
I bet in the campaign the whole thing ends up being our fault.

I used to love this system (I mean, it's still objectively great), but this publisher man...
The endless amount of content is...whatever, but I have 2 other issues:
1. no thought given to previous customers - just how many core boxes where 1/3 of stuff is useless (crystals etc) are we expected to buy? I think I have less than half the stuff they put out and I still ended up with dozens of cards to throw away. They should offer 2 products: a. one for old customers with onyl the new nemeses, characters maybe, the new friends/foes module and those player cards which introduce new concepts and b. the full box for new players.
2. I'm not sure the core system is that versatile to support so much content. I mean, how many cards that do x damage, but x+1 sometimes are out there at this point? Or 'when condition, heal a player for x or Gravehold for y'? The best part of the game in terms of variability are the Nemesis (and they did put out some crazy ones), they should have stuck with putting out small boxes of that stuff.
Did you say Outcasts was your favorite or New Age at the start? I'm tempted to jump in and will probably buy one of those at retail rather than commit to this campaign.
They are very similar sets, but New Age released first and has the earlier story chronologically. So I'd recommend New Age a bit more than Outcasts. Or wait for this new one to release, since it hard resets the story (it's a prequel).
could put a break at the end of the video for spoiler section to show that other stuff, I don't know how TH-cam monetizes stuff like that though if people not watch entire video ?

Are you asking for which release to buy, or for the preferred way to play solo (true solo, 2-handed, etc)?

@@JeremyStratton Depends how heavy you like to go. If you want heaviest grab this and the last expansion, Past and Future. If you want an easier onboarding, grab New Age.
i say, do we need more of aeon's end? I own War Eternal, New Age, 2 small expansions and some promos. It is A LOT. Unless i find a bargain, i am content. Thanx for the preview and playthrough!
