More stuff for the Aeons End wing of my home.
Very excited for this! Thank you Rahdo
Aeon's End is definitely my favorite game (or in the top 3), and I love playing it and having new content, but at the same time I wish they stop making more because I'm broke and ran out of space for more expansions lol
Last time i am a lesser completist. And this expansion is something i don't think is needed.
Thanks for the Video. We finished all Nemesis on Hard Mode (except 1) . We excist:p
well then it's time to give those nemeses a partner to help them defeat you! :)
But he also stated people who never have been defeated by the nemeses. Guess thats not you anymore. ;-)
On the campaign page it says you cant just add a friend, you have to add a foe for every friend. My initial thought was as well to lower the difficulty via a friend, because there are some frustrating nemesises which I havent been able to defeat to this day...
in the rulebook i've got with my prototype, it's an official variant in the final pages that says you add one or the other instead of both. so the main official rules are to always add both, but for "advanced play" i guess, you can go with one or the other :)
@@rahdo nice, thanks!
New version of a ba-bye is cool 😀. One question for new version of AE. As far as I know solo mode you get 3 player turn cards not 4 as you have in your runthrough. Was solo mode updated here?
yeah, the rules that came with my prototype specifically say that no matter the player count, there's always 4 player action cards in the deck. i double checked with pub and they said yup, so i went with it :)
I'm curious as to why Brama is young, but Mazahedron is still old lol
Also cool to see Thraxir in his human form
Never pkayed aeons end but keen to pick it up. Should i start here?
it's as good a place as any :)
This might be a bit more of a complex edition, I’m not sure.
I highly recommend New Age (4th wave) for people new to the series as that is extremely polished without compounding too many new mechanics.
The first Aeon's End leaned on humanity being in Gravehold for generations. How does that make sense that humanity hid in Gravehold within the lifetime of Brama?
i guess that means brama is a lot older than we thought :)
❤
This or Past and Future?
if i could only own 1 AE, it'd be this one or the 2nd legacy one :)
To confirm: The story just unlocks cards, right?
There is no destruction of items, like in other legacy games?
6:57 Uh oh. I backed this when I heard of it, but I did not realise they were doubling up on existing mages... Can you use both Brama Mages in the same game?
@@ChimeratAlpha this is not a legacy game, no stickers or writing on things or any of that. just a normal campaign game where you can ignore the story if you want and open up all of the envelopes right away :)
and don't worry... young brama is a different playable character with different abilities than old brama, and it's totally fine to play with both of them together (imagine it's a time travel scenario where old brama comes back in time to help young brama in a pivotal fight) :)
@@rahdo Okay, good. Thank you for confirming. :)
Is this a stand alone
yes fucntions as standalone or an expansion
