Thank you so much for your comment. These particular instruments are incredible to pair and layer together. There is no lack in analog raw power blended with lush screaming poly synth waves it’s sonically breathtaking to feel when playing climatical riffs and rudiments, along with the subtle glides and expressions after touches between either of the synths, its an amazing feeling. I recently bought both of these synths. Such an amazing combo. I haven't gotten anything nearly this good out of them though. Looking at the lights on the synth, it looks like the sounds were layered but the summit was on single mode and the sub37 was on a patch with duo enabled. I will have to give this setup a try.
You have observed and identified correctly, for both synths at that! Single mode patch on the Summit is “simple and sublime” bank/patch preset A9. The Sub 37 is in duo mode, it is a patch called Duo Reality, and was created by a user here in TH-cam, I’ll find and source it for yah, he has a collection of 16. I am also using send fx thru my channel mixer, the pedals are the OG tc electronics hall of fame and flashback.

sounds great. i'm selling my Sub37 to afford the Summit. Love the sub but can't afford both.
Thank you, and… ouch…😢… my heart breaks to hear this! After getting a reverb and delay pedal the sub 37 is an absolute beast for raw analog escapes, I could not bring myself to sell it. If you’re struggling at all to sell it… if there is an intimate connection you got with it, don’t let it go. I still harbor selling my first synth and Sh-201 for a Casio px-5s heavy weighted keys, I love it, but it was not worth what memories I dearly hold. I hope to have the sh-201 again someday.
