I'm a climber and have been using your channel for about 6 months now. Primarily for accessory mobility/flexibility work. Thanks to you I finally feel like I'm really using my hips and glutes on the wall properly, and my shoulders feel healthier than they ever have! Thanks for this one and keep up the good work man! 🤙

Climber here. Saw this video posted in a climbing thread. Thank you! The wrist exercises alone are extremely helpful! My wrists have gotten very tight from years of climbing and I've lost a lot of range of motion in them. There are the usual basic wrist stretches most of us do, but the first 4 alone you've introduced (open finger wrist rotations, closed fist wrist rotations, straight arm opening fingers, bent arm closing fists) helped so much more. The tightness in my forearms, wrists, and elbows are a lot more alleviated than they have been from other basic exercises - just from doing this once! Will be doing these more! Thanks for sharing.

Climber here, originally found and started following your channel to supplement my climbing with daily flexibility routines. Awesome to see one targeted specifically at climbers. Very good workout overall, one addition I would have is ankle flexibility, it can be super important for dropping your heel to get more of your shoe's surface area on large, slippery holds. Definitely hip flexibility is too priority though, and shoulders and wrists are super important as well.

Hi Tom, I'm 48 & started bouldering 3 years ago. I played rugby until my early 30s and have always weight trained at home to keep myself fit. I use of your flexibility/mobility routines 5~6 times a week and really like this new one specifically for climbers. To try & progress at climbing I use the Beastmaker finger board, however I suffer from carpal tunnel in both my wrists, it flares up usually after climbing to varying degrees but after any sort of finger board training it becomes really bad. I have watched & tried some stretching videos on TH-cam but they haven't really worked. The obvious answer is to stop or prolonded rest but at my age I lose strenght and flexibility very quickly and whilst Ive cut the fingerboard training down to once a week I'm still tortured during the night with CT. Have you any suggestions?
    Cheers John Marshall
PS. Keep making the routines they're absolutely brilliant.

Amazing Tom! Incorporating this to my stretching schedule right away. It'd be really helpful if you'd have some list of workouts in your website, app, or a video, that explains the best combinations of stretches and when to perform them (just a suggestion). For example, PNF quarantine routine+climbers mobility on rest days, dynamic stretching every morning, squat mobility before training... etc.
PS. The description in the video says "short flexibility routine for swimmer", I guess you copy-paste from that and forgot to change that line.

Hi Tom. Thanks for the great videos and resources on your youtube channel and app! I am training in contemporary dance and I find the body weight strengthening and mobility work in your videos to be great for cross training!
I do the mobility drills most days and it really helps with contemporary dance (back rolling, sliding, jumping)
I wondered if you could do a video specifically on strengthening and mobility for dancers? I know this is a strange request but it would be a great help during this quarantine where it's hard to practice dance. I'm trying to build up shoulder strength and general active mobility.
    Thanks !

Thank you so much Tom for this routine exercise for climbers. I have been suffering from an epicondylitis for more than a year. Actually, we discovered the tendon was torn, and I went through a Tenex procedure. Long story short… your routine exercise was an absolute game changer in my recovery, which was hardly picking up, due also to office/computer daily work. I am now back on the seventh grade although I am 55 already and steadily. Keep your routine with any claim I am doing.
Quick question, I was wondering if this routing would be more beneficial when we start Climbing or when we finish the session? Thanks a lot again for those amazing guidance.

Hi Tom! This was great, like all your other follow-alongs, thank you. They’re perfect during quarantine! 😊 What would be a good strength and conditioning workout for climbers? Just to be ready for the day when we can climb mountains again 😊
