I love how open Magnus is about tweaky things and how he wants to do easier things to warm up or not get injured...I feel like the climbing world needs more of that😂
It’s cool. It felt like Magnus’ love for climbing had started to die out quite a bit. Then he started doing collabs with Adam and now the fire is back in his eyes
I have no idea how you see that at all, and his first collab was over two years ago at this point. It's just that Adam is so psyched he makes others also seem psyched even if they're just trying to sell you chalk and clothes.
I just love seeing Adam and Magnus together in videos, they convey a super good energy and we can see they"re having a good time. Keep breaking the internet with those vids !!
You know it’s going to be hard if Magnus suggests warming up. And Adam’s “go fast” after Magnus comments on how hardcore the session is. 😂. I absolutely love all the collabs. You guys are the best duo!
I need more of these Adam and Magnus training and climbing vids. Adam, would be cool if you took Magnus out for a hard project and film that, nice to see Magnus shoot for super hard route again, and I think you'd be the right guy to encourage it.
I watched this video after watching More Magnus bouldering video. It’s incredible you two could still climb at that level after 7 hours of strength challenges and training. It also explains why you both stumbled here and there. Incredible endurance and strength. Wow.
It`s a plaesure to see how respectful and well mind setted both of you are. Without any envy. An example for humanity and natural, normal thinling in life - what lots of people have lost "in these days". (excuse me about my grammar.🙂) . All the Best from Germany.
As impressed as I am each time I watch Adam climb, his physical abilities are just wild, but above all his mentality and personality make him such a likeable guy ;) Great video. Team Adam & Magnus always stands out.
As i keep watching the video, i take a very interesting tip for the warm up "you should also be creative for your warmup" like little A to B challenges with a few tweaks.
Love Adam and Magnus so much, and hope they continue to make videos together for a long time. Also, for a hell of an experience, watch the meeting from 0:44 to 1:20 at .25x speed with volume way up. 🙌
I recently tore my shoulder labrum completely off of the bone and am waiting for surgery, and I swear it started aching even more just watching those 360s… mad props y’all 🤙
@@user-vi9vf2bu4q compression boulder problem… ended up tearing the bicep tendon where it connects to the labrum, too. It was after several days of climbing in a row, and I work as a trim carpenter, always working with my hands and a lot over my head. But I had my surgery a month ago and am heading in the right direction 👍 thanks for asking!
When I started climbing we only had a spray wall. Me and a few of my buddies started making our own routes, and I truly think making your own routes on a spray wall is an extremely good way to understand climbing better.
lol I really got that friends who haven't seen each other in a while vibe. In the beginning the vibe was so awkward but after sessioning together it did a 180°
5:52 That left hand crimp is probably the strongest climbing flex I've ever seen on youtube, damned nice! Man, I wish I had never got out of the game in my 20's. I'd love to know if I could even pull off that level of grip strength.
It's insane how Magnus, at his age, probably not spending as much time training as the much younger Adam (who is training for the Olympics), can still be very much in the same ballpark, keeping up. That's just mind boggling to me, the longevity of such a high level.

Magnus is 4 years older than Adam, and 35 is not really that old for endurance/strength sports, especially outside of the professional circuit. I bet he'll be very strong for quite a while!
Brilliant video. I'm inspired to try out my local spray wall now! Always been a bit daunted by it, but it was great to see your process of setting the problems.
I like how you can compare this to the first Adam+Magnus video, and you can see that they are more comfortable with each other. The first video was very "fan meets hero", but now it's more "friends hanging out".
What i want to know is...How the hell do people climb every day!? Ive just been 2 days on trot. Ive been climbing 2 to 3 times a week for 7 months. Tonight ive got pain in elbow joints, thighs nearly cramping and lower back ache!😂 im 40, but been active all my life. 8 hrs physical graft 6 days a week. Will i ever get there? Or is it better to just stick to 1 day on 1 day off. You guys are beasts. Thanks for all the inspiration. The course material is excellent too. Youre a natural teacher, creativity in abundance 🙏
What is it that makes climbing on the spray wall so much better compared to doing the preset boulders? at 19:10 , why does the spraywall transfer so good to hard rock climbing?
Because you can set the problems the way you want and need for your rock climbing goals, and not only what market kind of demands, which is often coordination jumps and balancy slabs. It is cool and fun, but not so useful on the rock. Even slabs on the rock are more often about standing on tiny edges rather than flat volumes. In general, perecentage of "physical" boulders that make you strong in a natural way, is quite low on commercially set problems.
Great video! Would you say that climbing on the spray wall is beneficial for boulderers like me, who are far from being able to complete all set boulders at my gym? Like I can climb commercial boulders up to 7A, so if I dedicated most of my climbing to the spray wall, I would miss alot of already set boulders that are on the limit for me.
I am pretty sure! If you have enough problems to try in your gym, lucky you! But I believe it is not the case for most of the people. But I feel like the most common problem for most of the gyms is that most of problems don't really focus physical problems. They are rather funky, jumpy and fun, but necessarily don't help you so much on the rock. It is not that it doesn't make sense to climb them, it is important to get more dynamic, have confidence of climbing every style, but usually don't offer enough physical boulderproblems, that are often technical at the same time. The other option is board climbing or campusing, but that is often very little technique and so much physical part. Rock climbing requires both.
Yes, me 😁 Algorithm threw up Magnus’s vids and I’ve been watching for a couple of years. I love how mutually supportive these super-accomplished climbers are, and this series of Magnus & AO vids is such great fun ❤️

"this one right here"... nothing popping up :D
not many spray walls here in Bergen (N)
that awkward hello is priceless
Ahhh ah it hurts to watch but we all have been there 😅 somehow honest that they left it in the video.
hahaha
So professional unprofessional
@@dima1538totally they could have edited it out but I've had so many hellos like this 😅
But the chemistry grew great after a while
Adam could literally be doing hangs on his living room door frame and would still show the same enthusiasm as he would climbing 9C what a legend
I hang from my doorways all day long. While on the phone, in between games, before dinner, after dinner lol. My kids are always laughing at me.
All i know is when adam retires from comp climbing, he's going to be a savage route setter
He already is a rad route setter. Change, Silence etc..
This video should be titled: "Most Climbers Should Warm-up on a 7B."
Magnus and Adam have become quite the power duo, great personalities adam’s channel has really grown in a great way!!
Magnus is actually awesome at controlling his momentum and timing his moves.
He’s got great strength and body tension.

It’s cool. It felt like Magnus’ love for climbing had started to die out quite a bit. Then he started doing collabs with Adam and now the fire is back in his eyes
Adam is so psyched for anything that resembles climbing movement it must be infectious
Honestly I can see zero amount of fire in Magnus eyes this time xD Looks pretty tired and concerned
I have no idea how you see that at all, and his first collab was over two years ago at this point. It's just that Adam is so psyched he makes others also seem psyched even if they're just trying to sell you chalk and clothes.
Nonsense, I don't think they even like each other.

That would be nice to see Magnus taking Adam somewhere in Norway and Adam taking Magnus somewhere in Czech Republic
@doposud isn't there a video of them on adams home rock?
The courage to keep in the awkward handshake / fist bump is inspiring 😅
