People get used to reciting/offering Romans 10:9 for salvation, but don't really understand what it means. You are expressing your belief in the deity of Jesus Christ and in the Trinity in one statement. You confess THE Lord to be Jesus, while believing that God has raised Him from the dead. Jesus himself says in John 10:18 and John 2:19-22 that He would raise HIMSELF from the dead. In Romans 8:11, actually, we're told that that God and His Spirit raised Jesus (and will raise us, too). Paul still tells us in Gal 1:1 that the Father did it. It doesn't take careful contemplation to understand that all three are God. It's made so clear by consistent reading of scripture. Hello, are you saying that Jesus is not God because He is also the Son of God? Your second reference shows you that Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. See also Col 1:15 and 2 Cor 4:4. Jesus Christ represents the Godhead bodily (Col 2:9). This is the way that we see Him, until we are made like Him and able to see Him as He is, in His glory (1 John 3:2). There is so much more scripture that proves this. Jesus is God, unequivocally. Please grab hold of this and don't lose sight of it.
That hierarchy and specialization exist within the Trinity proves God is orderly. It does not prove that Jesus is not God. To deny the divinity of Christ is to cause all sorts of problems. For example, God said in the OT that He created the universe by Himself, and He will not share His glory with another. Yet, the NT explicitly involves Jesus in creation, and Jesus said He shared in God’s glory. The doctrines of the Trinity prevent numerous contradictions that denial of the Trinity creates.
The only problem I'm having Corey with you is that you are saying that we have to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.... And that is not what Romans says. Roman says, that if ye shall confess with your mouth THE LORD JESUS and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead then you shall be saved... but CONFESSING Jesus as THE Lord is a "Holy Spirit" work... And the reason I know this is because Paul also says that no man can say that Jesus is THE Lord but by the HOLY SPIRIT.... I know that many also teach that you have to MAKE Jesus the Lord of your life in order to be saved and if he is not Lord of all then he is not Lord at all, which obviously is not bible... And I think that the understanding should be, Jesus Christ is THE LORD, whether we CONFESS it or not, certainly denying it won't put you any closer to heaven either.... But I just wanted to give a healthier understanding of Romans 10:9
If it's a work of the Holy Spirit you are saved because you have Holy Spirit in you therefore it is no longer the work of the law of "righteousness" plain and simple.
Confessing the Lord Jesus declares at least a minimal level of understanding about His identity. My understanding is that one might not understand the Trinity until later, but the Spirit will enable deeper understanding (1 Corinthians 2:14). A person who remains anti-trinitarian gives evidence that he’s probably not saved.

8:20 reminds me that when John refers to the glory they beheld perhaps it is also referring to when they beheld the transfiguration and or when Christ appeared to them after resurrection and or when He ascended (may help shed some light on Christ’s prayer to the father about his veiled or asking for the glory back ) not to mention all the mentioned “one like a man/the son of man” mentioned in the OT and all that you mentioned in this video as well…
We also have to remember Jesus said these things for our sake so that we could eventually understand what He has done, has been doing and will do- as He has made the father and the Word known as only He, God has-“I AM”.

People get used to reciting/offering Romans 10:9 for salvation, but don't really understand what it means. You are expressing your belief in the deity of Jesus Christ and in the Trinity in one statement. You confess THE Lord to be Jesus, while believing that God has raised Him from the dead. Jesus himself says in John 10:18 and John 2:19-22 that He would raise HIMSELF from the dead. In Romans 8:11, actually, we're told that that God and His Spirit raised Jesus (and will raise us, too). Paul still tells us in Gal 1:1 that the Father did it. It doesn't take careful contemplation to understand that all three are God. It's made so clear by consistent reading of scripture. Bless the Lord, He made His Word simple enough to understand, especially for those who seek to study the truth.

Hello, are you saying that Jesus is not God because He is also the Son of God? Your second reference shows you that Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. See also Col 1:15 and 2 Cor 4:4. Jesus Christ represents the Godhead bodily (Col 2:9). This is the way that we see Him, until we are made like Him and able to see Him as He is, in His glory (1 John 3:2). There is so much more scripture that proves this.
Jesus is God, unequivocally. Please grab hold of this and don't lose sight of it.
That hierarchy and specialization exist within the Trinity proves God is orderly. It does not prove that Jesus is not God.
To deny the divinity of Christ is to cause all sorts of problems. For example, God said in the OT that He created the universe by Himself, and He will not share His glory with another. Yet, the NT explicitly involves Jesus in creation, and Jesus said He shared in God’s glory.
The doctrines of the Trinity prevent numerous contradictions that denial of the Trinity creates.
The only problem I'm having Corey with you is that you are saying that we have to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.... And that is not what Romans says. Roman says, that if ye shall confess with your mouth THE LORD JESUS and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead then you shall be saved... but CONFESSING Jesus as THE Lord is a "Holy Spirit" work... And the reason I know this is because Paul also says that no man can say that Jesus is THE Lord but by the HOLY SPIRIT.... I know that many also teach that you have to MAKE Jesus the Lord of your life in order to be saved and if he is not Lord of all then he is not Lord at all, which obviously is not bible... And I think that the understanding should be, Jesus Christ is THE LORD, whether we CONFESS it or not, certainly denying it won't put you any closer to heaven either.... But I just wanted to give a healthier understanding of Romans 10:9
If it's a work of the Holy Spirit you are saved because you have Holy Spirit in you therefore it is no longer the work of the law of "righteousness" plain and simple.
Confessing the Lord Jesus declares at least a minimal level of understanding about His identity. My understanding is that one might not understand the Trinity until later, but the Spirit will enable deeper understanding (1 Corinthians 2:14). A person who remains anti-trinitarian gives evidence that he’s probably not saved.

I respect you a lot young man, but to say that Jesus is Elohim is off. Jesus is the son who was given all authority in heaven and earth by Elohim. In Deuteronomy Jesus birth had not take place yet. Like you said God does not confuse us. Jesus said consistently who he is without trying to piece it together. He is the Son of God. Can’t get anymore Biblical than that. Good is not the seed of any human. Jesus was the seed.
He’s Eternally the Son of God. He’s also of the same Substance Essence of His Father. We also have scripture that say He’s equal with God. It’s hard to get around that.
@@DeepConviction25 yes equal but not Elohim himself. Just look at the Gospels. Jesus and his disciples say who he is throughout the whole Gospel. Remember God gave him authority in heaven and on earth. I’m my Father’s son and I have his name . He can give me all the authority and I can move like him. I can sign things for him, but does not make me him. Jesus is adamant about letting us know he is the Son of God.

@@DeepConviction25you are correct he never denied it but he never confirmed it either. What he did confirm was that he was the Messiah the Son of the Living God. You can find that in Matthew 16. This when he asked the disciples who do you say I am. Check out what Jesus told Peter.

Even a Christian cannot brush aside the worship of Jehovah as God. In Revelation 1:5 the Son of God called himself "Jesus Christ, 'The Faithful Witness.'" When on earth as a man he was a Jew, an Israelite, to whose nation the words of Isaiah 43:10 were written: "'You are my witnesses, ' is the utterance of Jehovah, 'even my servant whom I have chosen. '" Jesus demonstrated that he was a faithful and true witness of Jehovah God. His genuine disciples today must be the same kind of witnesses, Jehovah's.
Jehovah is the anglicized version of Latin version of Greek version of Hebrew consonants YHWH plus vowels from Adonai. Claiming “Jehovah” is God’s name is presumptuous.
Moreover, YHWH means I AM, and Jesus claimed to be I AM. The Jews understood what it meant and tried to stone Him for it. There’s no salvation in an unfaithful witness that refuses to recognize Jesus for whom He is.
