I think the biggest problem is the example in the bible for teaching and spreading the gospel are no longer followed. Making a business out of the gospel is not in the bible.
@@Papaspronator the Pastor is not supposed to make money, he/she is to be cared for by the Church IF they are actually LABORING over the people of GOD. Besides, the issue is the Church is not a business but yet they conduct the Church like a business. Scripture says to give freely as you have been given freely. However, you have to pay for everything in the Church from REVELATIONS TO PRAYER! When all of that is given from GOD FREELY. Laboring in the Church means to pray and fast. To call out the people before The FATHER, to seek revelation for the Church (members of the body of Christ). To help when needed however it's needed etc. All this is to be given freely but revelation is put in a book and if the people want the revelation they have to pay for it. WHY? Prayer, you have the $100.00 line all the way up. Different items are sold in the Church. So much more that show the Church is a business and the Houses are not Houses of Prayer but the are Dens of thieves. Amen 👸🏾🙌🏿
They aren’t bad they were sent by God for a reason. They couldn’t possibly exist if the people in the church read the Bible. God has a lot more control of everything than we give him credit for.
They Fall because they were false preachers to begin with. They appointed themselves as preachers. God never called not one of them and they will keep getting exposed over time. God will not be mocked!!!
It’s sin and definitely wrong in what they have done or are doing. I have come to the conclusion that there are no perfect anybody. But someone preaching false doctrine is definitely false! God has warned us of false prophets! Part of the issue is they lack true repentance! We need to follow Biblical protocol in handling church issues. I do not follow man no matter how they preach, how Biblically educated they are. They can cast out demons and raise the dead, I follow Jesus!!

These pastors seem to take God's forgiveness as an escape chute. If they truly repent and decide to change their ways, tben they would have Godly wisdom and integrity to step down for good, to make sure they do not become stumbling blocks to the body.

There are also many Husband - Wife Pastoral teams & they "do" several Annual "conferences" with other Husband- Wife Pastors. This often raises quite a bit of money for the Host Church or Pastors-I guess. Just curious as to where we see this in the Bible???

I have become more aware of former politicians starting a church when their term is over or if not reelected & many musicians- both "gospel" & secular musicians saying they are "called" to be a Pastor of a congregation or chirch body.
There is a problem when it is a crime (ie. SA against innocent children) and leadership or congregation buries or hides it, thus enabling the pastor to do it for decades. I belonged to a church where the pastor committed SA against little boys for 4 decades as many as 100 boys, and leadership hid it. This happens a lot, we can't ignore this & pretend it isn't happening.

I think that we have possibly relegated too much attention to the office of pastor, while neglecting the other gifts and ministries that were placed in the body of Christ for the good of the body. Have we become a lazy, spectator flock of sheep, who only desire their celebrity preachers to do it all? I am a partially paralyzed individual, and understand full well how frustrating it is to have parts of the body that will not contribute to the rest of the body. If churches took these ‘preachers’’ inability to rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15) as a disqualifying mark, none of these scandals would have taken place, because these men would not have had the platform necessary to do such wicked things.

At minute mark 2:38, did anyone else hear this man say that he has seen midgets grow in his ministry. I fell out laughing, when has that ever been a sign of a faithful ministry or pastor?!? Can we find that in the bible? This ministry is on fire, Jesus did a lot of miracles in the bible, but He didn't grow a midget! Pastor has become an official title elevated above the body, and has taken on a role of mediator between God and man when we all know who the scripture says fills that role. Enjoyed this video tremendously not so much for the Preachers it revealed which have already been on front page news stories but how Bro Corey explained the scriptures as to not only what to do about these types of Preachers but what causes them and how to respond when these negative and unGodly situations arise . I wish he could have gone in depth about how to approach such acts when Pastors and Preachers do sin or maybe make bad decisions calls that are not necessarily of sin ; but he has done so in other videos if I remember correctly. I am in a situation now where I love my lifelong Church tremendously( the church and family history , past great teaching and preaching etc ) I have been publicly humiliated many ,many times for over forty years at my church after coming out of nightclubs and the entertainment industry ( I realize that what they do for my evil ,God can make for my good) mostly by the late founding Pastor's family who brags every now and then that it's still their Daddy 's Church ,though Daddy has been dead almost forty yrs. It's suppose to be God 's Church I thought , not a human hierarchy system. One of the daughters is a Gospel music star / Evangelist who she and her sister seem to have complete lifetime rule over the choir without position title over what songs are sang ,who the musicians are and how to play ( yet one of them has never played an instrument in their lifetime at the church house ), they and their cronies and kin have openly mocked worshippers and musicians and still do to this day ; and the so called church star as pronounced by the current pastor 's wife, even in the past have mocked the Pastor and entire church in front of guest churches.( I'm not trying to judge them yet these things have been on public display for all to see ,apparently though except to them ). This year would have been our church's 65th Church Anniversary or Celebration of Ministry Service but has been cancelled in recent past years because seemingly of the antics of the founding Pastor's family ,and they still go oblivious to the decades of damage and the exiting of so many past members because of the often open demonic activity they do just to keep relevance in the church and public eye; They are loved even if simply because they are the family of our beloved and once nationally known founding Pastor,despite their actions. The sad part about it is , as long as you don't get on their bad side or they have no dispute with you , they are wonderful people to be around if they are always on top or at the forefront ,( they have openly stated they will never follow certain people in roles incl myself and have gone so far to sabotage in various ways those in a position etc they do not desire ,and they will not follow those they do not like including them not coming to church until they get what they want or a dispute has aged ) but that usually comes at the expense of others . Our current Pastor I believe feels beholden to them because our Founding Pastor accepted him into our church. I have never done anything personally to these people yet they have gone out of their way to get me removed from positions or to humiliate me in mass services that I know God put me there, because being any kind of leader in Church even Head Usher can be a living hell at times if you truly are living for God ,because Being a Great Leader anywhere secular or church is more about having power but rarely using the enforcement side due to being passionate etc ; it's also about being a servant ,not a master ; it's not about desiring and enjoying the perks , but sharing those perks if possible and being humble about them if and when they come; Being a leader in the church is not only a blessing but a curse , it's a lesson in depending on God and a stepping stone for doing the great commission for how can we as followers of Christ deal with the things of the world when we cannot get along with each other first . I am not perfect by any means also and I make mistakes in church as well , but I don't think I intentionally try to embarrass or harm people . The last five yrs or so have been difficult because God has given me revelation concerning vaccines ,scriptures concerning celebrating holidays ,revelation and dividing the word concerning the past and future like Gen ch 1,Gen ch 6, Exodus ch 28 -32 concerning Black Folks etc which I felt would endear me to the Saints but instead brought me public rebuke and downright nastiness even from family members in leadership roles and my Pastor ,whom to this day teach and preach forgiveness ,yet never once have told me they were sorry , but i forgive them ,still it's a hard pill to swallow ,even in a smaller congregation because my mother ,brothers,children saw and see what has and is still taking place ; and they encourage me to have left long ago even ,but I feel the church needs me ,I know I need them ,they are my identity for better or worse as the body of Christ. Yet my Pastor though aging ,I believe is a Godly Man but is caught between trying to please all the members and doing what is right , He has done really good things for me that he did not have to do , even at one time , my Pastor was also my best friend ( how many people can say that )and he and I would often talk late at night or the wee hours of the morn not in sin ( We both knew the other was studying scriptures or was praying etc ) or anything like that but would discuss Bible scriptures and Id present him my latest conspiracy theories and how they applied to the Bible ,or about the many supernatural occurrences I had experienced over the yrs good or bad , and he likewise would counter me or my experiences with his wisdom and or Scriptures ,sometimes we debated or he would just quiz me concerning scriptures ; One of the biggest running debates we had was Gen .ch 6 , which sometimes ran into public study , though I strive to always give him the respect God requires a Pastor and Preacher . I believe that the Sons of God in Gen ch 6 though also meaning children of God in some places of scripture means Angels ,according to Job ch 1 ; My Pastor believes that the sons of God in the same passage were men of old and Reknown . Our debate went public during a Bible Study as well as Sunday School which others sided with the Pastor ,I was well aware of not admonishing my Pastor even if I was right in public , so I studied more and did deeper research and found that we were both right ! The 1st to the 4th Century Saints believed the Sons of God in their time to be Angels ,but the Catholic Church changed the meaning of the Sons of God to be men of old and or Reknown ; And that makes a big difference when we read Gen ch 6 and how it applies to us today , so literally I was correct . It really stunned me to see Pastor Evans step down because I believe he is a Godly man who messed up like we all do from time to time ,that's why we need saving daily and the Holy Spirit constantly filling us because as evil increases in the world ,without the light of God ,darkness would eventually take us over too without the return of Christ ,who he being the light of God ,can restore us back to the image and likeness of God he has always intended ,that of everlasting life and peace . Please pray for Me ,my family ,my church , my founding Pastor 's family ,my Pastor and his family , my church family as our Church and property has been broken into ,shot up and or has been vandalized,trashed many ,many times over the years including recently , sometimes back to back days and nights , and some Saints have had doubt for their safety not only at our church but many around the city as the days draw closer to the return of Jesus Christ .
Why do leaders fall? That is a good question. why does anybody fall leaders are not to struggles to battles and weaknesses. a lot of us have fallen maybe not into sexual sins but in many many ways. Many of us have disappointed God, many of us have disobeyed God you have fallen. Can I say this? No one has the right to judge or put their mouth on no one let’s pray for each other. The world is judging us by our choices however that doesn’t keep us from getting weak and falling.. It doesn’t keep us from getting tired the remedy to that, is to submit yourself to God completely resist the enemy it is not always easy to resist. Fight for your place with God. We will look at everything and everybody else, but we won’t look at ourselves. Focus on God the Bible says he has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness so he has sent you the help that you need.. these people out there are not really preachers. Some of them are out there to make money and to fool you some of them been sent by the devil to make the church look bad.

Our church in Dallas also had to step down as well over a moral failure in May. He was a solid expositor and teacher but, he allowed his own temptation to get the best of him.

IMO the congregants worship the preacher too much. Given too much power. No group of elders to ever hold the guy in check. If we did that, when he falls it won’t be that big a deal.

Psalms 138:2 God magnifies His word above His name. And we know God does not play when it comes to HIS name and he places HIS word above HIS name. This is why I would tremble if I were a pastor. There is no fear of God before their eyes, but there is plenty of greed and corruption. The sons of Eli made the people abhor the offering of God because of their conduct. These same so-called pastors will give an account. Those who come near God MUST regard HIM as holy and before ALL people HE will be glorified (Leviticus 10:3). Even those who willfully and knowingly follow these men AND women in the pulpit.
When a congregant doesn't take the time to read and study Scripture themselves, but instead consider sitting in a church once a week and listening to the words of the man in the pulpit as fulfilling his "duty", they will be easily leave themselves open to false teaching. Being flesh, we tend to put people on pedestals. We have favorite actors and singers and even fiction authors. The true Christian has the Holy Spirit living within them, and if they listen to the voice of the Comforter and follow His leading, we will have the discernment to know the difference between truth and lies from the devil. Many "men" have fallen from their perch of power because, in many cases, WE PUT THEM UP THERE.
Not all these leaders are doing bad; I’m sure the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, job, David, Solomon rejoices when his people are blessed with the finer things in life.
The Bible is not a behavior based book. The Bible is weapon can be used for good or bad. We use the Bible to approve and diminish sin. We use the Bible to promote reckless evil and careless behavior. We use the Bible to not be accountable for ourselves. We use the Bible to have one-sided relationships. We use to the Bible to not have boundaries standards principles morals. We use the Bible not to correct people people or give consequences. We use the Bible not to give people what they deserve. What people teach is the tolerate gospel. It's called eternal life by definition eternal life has no ending and can't be lost. Hebrews 6:4 can't be literal because the parable of the prodigal son would not be true. One pastor explained it in the old testament under the law. You could lose your salvation, now under grace you can't but in the tribulation you will be able to lose your salvation and that's why it's in the Bible for the people in the tribulation. Remember the Bible is written for the future too.
Dispensationalists have the best Bible interpretation because they don't assume everyone was saved by looking forward to the cross. But it's only to the blood of Christ that they're forgiven in the future like Abraham. It was counted to him his righteousness for believing God. So sacrifices with animals and following the law would have been counted as righteousness because they believed God.
1. Was Moses chosen by god? 2. Was Moses teaching lies and heresy to the people or was he speaking the words of the lord? 3. What did Moses do? Lead people from literal captivity to freedom or did he run business and call it a synagogue?

However, you have to pay for everything in the Church from REVELATIONS TO PRAYER! When all of that is given from GOD FREELY. Laboring in the Church means to pray and fast. To call out the people before The FATHER, to seek revelation for the Church (members of the body of Christ). To help when needed however it's needed etc. All this is to be given freely but revelation is put in a book and if the people want the revelation they have to pay for it. WHY? Prayer, you have the $100.00 line all the way up. Different items are sold in the Church. I have become more aware of former politicians starting a church when their term is over or if not reelected & many musicians- both "gospel" & secular musicians saying they are "called" to be a Pastor of a congregation or chirch body.
There is a problem when it is a crime (ie. SA against innocent children) and leadership or congregation buries or hides it, thus enabling the pastor to do it for decades. I belonged to a church where the pastor committed SA against little boys for 4 decades as many as 100 boys, and leadership hid it. This happens a lot, we can't ignore this & pretend it isn't happening.

I think that we have possibly relegated too much attention to the office of pastor, while neglecting the other gifts and ministries that were placed in the body of Christ for the good of the body. Enjoyed this video tremendously not so much for the Preachers it revealed which have already been on front page news stories but how Bro Corey explained the scriptures as to not only what to do about these types of Preachers but what causes them and how to respond when these negative and unGodly situations arise .

I am in a situation now where I love my lifelong Church tremendously( the church and family history , past great teaching and preaching etc ) I have been publicly humiliated many ,many times for over forty years at my church after coming out of nightclubs and the entertainment industry ( I realize that what they do for my evil ,God can make for my good) mostly by the late founding Pastor's family who brags every now and then that it's still their Daddy 's Church ,though Daddy has been dead almost forty yrs. It's suppose to be God 's Church I thought , not a human hierarchy system.
One of the daughters is a Gospel music star / Evangelist who she and her sister seem to have complete lifetime rule over the choir without position title over what songs are sang ,who the musicians are and how to play ( yet one of them has never played an instrument in their lifetime at the church house ), they and their cronies and kin have openly mocked worshippers and musicians and still do to this day ; and the so called church star as pronounced by the current pastor 's wife, even in the past have mocked the Pastor and entire church in front of guest churches.( I'm not trying to judge them yet these things have been on public display for all to see ,apparently though except to them ).
This year would have been our church's 65th Church Anniversary or Celebration of Ministry Service but has been cancelled in recent past years because seemingly of the antics of the founding Pastor's family ,and they still go oblivious to the decades of damage and the exiting of so many past members because of the often open demonic activity they do just to keep relevance in the church and public eye; They are loved even if simply because they are the family of our beloved and once nationally known founding Pastor,despite their actions.
The sad part about it is , as long as you don't get on their bad side or they have no dispute with you , they are wonderful people to be around if they are always on top or at the forefront ,( they have openly stated they will never follow certain people in roles incl myself and have gone so far to sabotage in various ways those in a position etc they do not desire ,and they will not follow those they do not like including them not coming to church until they get what they want or a dispute has aged ) but that usually comes at the expense of others .
Our current Pastor I believe feels beholden to them because our Founding Pastor accepted him into our church.
I have never done anything personally to these people yet they have gone out of their way to get me removed from positions or to humiliate me in mass services that I know God put me there, because being any kind of leader in Church even Head Usher can be a living hell at times if you truly are living for God ,because
Being a Great Leader anywhere secular or church is more about having power but rarely using the enforcement side due to being passionate etc ; it's also about being a servant ,not a master ; it's not about desiring and enjoying the perks , but sharing those perks if possible and being humble about them if and when they come; Being a leader in the church is not only a blessing but a curse , it's a lesson in depending on God and a stepping stone for doing the great commission for how can we as followers of Christ deal with the things of the world when we cannot get along with each other first .
I am not perfect by any means also and I make mistakes in church as well , but I don't think I intentionally try to embarrass or harm people .
The last five yrs or so have been difficult because God has given me revelation concerning vaccines ,scriptures concerning celebrating holidays ,revelation and dividing the word concerning the past and future like Gen ch 1,Gen ch 6, Exodus ch 28 -32 concerning Black Folks etc which I felt would endear me to the Saints but instead brought me public rebuke and downright nastiness even from family members in leadership roles and my Pastor ,whom to this day teach and preach forgiveness ,yet never once have told me they were sorry , but i forgive them ,still it's a hard pill to swallow ,even in a smaller congregation because my mother ,brothers,children saw and see what has and is still taking place ; and they encourage me to have left long ago even ,but I feel the church needs me ,I know I need them ,they are my identity for better or worse as the body of Christ.
Yet my Pastor though aging ,I believe is a Godly Man but is caught between trying to please all the members and doing what is right , He has done really good things for me that he did not have to do , even at one time , my Pastor was also my best friend ( how many people can say that )and he and I would often talk late at night or the wee hours of the morn not in sin ( We both knew the other was studying scriptures or was praying etc ) or anything like that but would discuss Bible scriptures and Id present him my latest conspiracy theories and how they applied to the Bible ,or about the many supernatural occurrences I had experienced over the yrs good or bad , and he likewise would counter me or my experiences with his wisdom and or Scriptures ,sometimes we debated or he would just quiz me concerning scriptures ; One of the biggest running debates we had was Gen .ch 6 , which sometimes ran into public study , though I strive to always give him the respect God requires a Pastor and Preacher .
I believe that the Sons of God in Gen ch 6 though also meaning children of God in some places of scripture means Angels ,according to Job ch 1 ; My Pastor believes that the sons of God in the same passage were men of old and Reknown .
Our debate went public during a Bible Study as well as Sunday School which others sided with the Pastor ,I was well aware of not admonishing my Pastor even if I was right in public , so I studied more and did deeper research and found that we were both right !
The 1st to the 4th Century Saints believed the Sons of God in their time to be Angels ,but the Catholic Church changed the meaning of the Sons of God to be men of old and or Reknown ; And that makes a big difference when we read Gen ch 6 and how it applies to us today , so literally I was correct .
It really stunned me to see Pastor Evans step down because I believe he is a Godly man who messed up like we all do from time to time ,that's why we need saving daily and the Holy Spirit constantly filling us because as evil increases in the world ,without the light of God ,darkness would eventually take us over too without the return of Christ ,who he being the light of God ,can restore us back to the image and likeness of God he has always intended ,that of everlasting life and peace .
Please pray for Me ,my family ,my church , my founding Pastor 's family ,my Pastor and his family , my church family as our Church and property has been broken into ,shot up and or has been vandalized,trashed many ,many times over the years including recently , sometimes back to back days and nights , and some Saints have had doubt for their safety not only at our church but many around the city as the days draw closer to the return of Jesus Christ .
Why do leaders fall? That is a good question. why does anybody fall leaders are not to struggles to battles and weaknesses. a lot of us have fallen maybe not into sexual sins but in many many ways. Psalms 138:2 God magnifies His word above His name. And we know God does not play when it comes to HIS name and he places HIS word above HIS name. This is why I would tremble if I were a pastor. There is no fear of God before their eyes, but there is plenty of greed and corruption. The sons of Eli made the people abhor the offering of God because of their conduct. These same so-called pastors will give an account. Those who come near God MUST regard HIM as holy and before ALL people HE will be glorified (Leviticus 10:3). Even those who willfully and knowingly follow these men AND women in the pulpit.

When a congregant doesn't take the time to read and study Scripture themselves, but instead consider sitting in a church once a week and listening to the words of the man in the pulpit as fulfilling his "duty", they will be easily leave themselves open to false teaching. Being flesh, we tend to put people on pedestals. We have favorite actors and singers and even fiction authors. The true Christian has the Holy Spirit living within them, and if they listen to the voice of the Comforter and follow His leading, we will have the discernment to know the difference between truth and lies from the devil. Many "men" have fallen from their perch of power because, in many cases, WE PUT THEM UP THERE.

The Bible is not a behavior based book. The Bible is weapon can be used for good or bad. We use the Bible to approve and diminish sin. We use the Bible to promote reckless evil and careless behavior. We use the Bible to not be accountable for ourselves. We use the Bible to have one-sided relationships. We use to the Bible to not have boundaries standards principles morals. We use the Bible not to correct people people or give consequences. We use the Bible not to give people what they deserve. What people teach is the tolerate gospel. You can do whatever you want and just get forgiveness mercy grace love and compassion. We judge people by their tolerance not how they treat people. We use the Bible to disobey the Bible. Using God to justify people.

It's called eternal life by definition eternal life has no ending and can't be lost. Hebrews 6:4 can't be literal because the parable of the prodigal son would not be true. One pastor explained it in the old testament under the law. You could lose your salvation, now under grace you can't but in the tribulation you will be able to lose your salvation and that's why it's in the Bible for the people in the tribulation. Remember the Bible is written for the future too.
Dispensationalists have the best Bible interpretation because they don't assume everyone was saved by looking forward to the cross. But it's only to the blood of Christ that they're forgiven in the future like Abraham. It was counted to him his righteousness for believing God. So sacrifices with animals and following the law would have been counted as righteousness because they believed God.
