- This refreshing creamy instant Vietnamese Iced Coffee recipe (condensed milk coffee) is easy, quick and super affordable. You only need 2 ingredients and 5 minutes to make this homemade iced drink.
Traditionally, Vietnamese coffee is made with coffee brewed in a Phin which then drip directly over a cup of condensed milk.
Not everyone owns a Phin or the type of coffee bean (Cafe Du Monde) used. Here on this channel, I love to make things easy for my coffee lovers and we are using instant coffee. No disrespect to anyone!!!
Let me show you how to make the best iced sweet condensed milk coffee recipe at home in easy steps. This drink is perfect for any time of the day, definitely great in the summer weather.

Ingredients
1 tbsp instant coffee or 2 shots of freshly brewed espresso
4 to 6 tbsp condensed milk, divided (or use as needed)
Note: sweetened condensed milk is different from evaporated milk. If using evaporated milk, add sugar to taste.

U can even do it with normal milk incase if u don't have condensed milk and if ure using normal milk it doesn't need to pour boiling water,luke warm water is enough anyway it's very tasty

Great video, nicely done, very aesthetic. However, I have to agree with others that the title is misleading. Without Vietnamese-grown coffee and the Vietnamese drip filter, this is not so much Vietnamese iced coffee, but more so a regular instant coffee with condensed milk as sweetener.

You guys are getting pretty technical, but I get it.
Generally speaking though, coffee ,ice and condensed milk should be enough to call it viet styles.
I like mine with a fresh dark roast espresso.
@@hcr32slider I dont know where are you from? And what restaurant you have been done as you said using instant coffee before. but, please try again any coffee shop in Vietnam for now. You will see 2 kind of making coffee, by using the filter or using the coffee machine. That time you will definitely taste the true delicious Vietnamese coffee.

This is just regular coffee. Not vnese coffee. Here how to make real vnese ice coffee
Put some tbs Condensed milk in a cup
Add ice
Then add your black coffee
There we have it. We normally use robusta coffee. But u can use any kind. Adjust it to ur liking.
Actually you should add an Espresso strong coffee.
Regular black coffee will be to weak once the ice melts!
I use cafe du monde and condensed milk. That's what I heard vietnamese people use

Nice video. Just want to say that this is more of a white coffee version (where milk is more than coffee).
For the regular version of the vietnamese milk coffee, only 1 -2 teaspoon of condense mik should be more than enough, and milk should only be added after you make the hot coffee.

🖐🏾For those not used to cooking with condensed milk, it looks like she is using sweetened condensed milk. It comes in a smaller can. It is not the same as regular condensed milk and you will not get this consistency. Looks good otherwise.

In fact we don't use that much condensed milk , also the coffee must be very strong. This recipe is more like milk tea but have coffee flavour :vv
I have the recipe that use for most coffee shops in Vietnam: 90ml of filter coffee (recommended) and 25-30ml of condensed milk. Combine everything together and BOOM 💥 you have Vietnamese white coffee

Hello there! This looks okay, but I agree with others: The name is misleading because it simply is NOT Vietnamese iced coffee. You can even make it in a french coffee press- which IS NOT as traditional as the Phin, but it must be espresso coffee from Vietnam, which can be found at your local Asian market- or on Amazon of course. Using instant coffee it's called- I don't know, lol, but it's something else. But I'll be checking out more of your videos. Good luck!
It's just the fast/easy way of doing it.
Also don't understand all the people saying it needs to be a Vietnamese espresso, just needs to be a Robusta bean type coffee which is what Vietnamese coffee bean is at the end of the day

Edit: I may need to adjust mine, 5-6 tbps of condensed milk is waaaaaay too sweet.
Edit 2: 3 Tbsp of condensed milk in the initial part and none in the cup. Still sweet but not sickly sweet as the first one.
Edit 3: 1-2 of condensed milk tbsp is just right.

Nicely made video. Unfortunately this isn't actually Vietnamese iced coffee so the title is misleading. The type of coffee, absence of a phin and method used are completely not authentic Vietnamese iced coffee style and to call it the "best" is very far fetched.
If you want to share your take on iced coffee that's absolutely great but don't claim it is Vietnamese or the best. Good day.

Vietnamese coffee made from robusta beans are strong. It may taste sweet with all that condensed milk yet you can still taste the intense coffee flavor. I normally just use 2 tablespoons.

Vietnamese coffee is amazing however I drink it once a month due to the amount of sugar it has. Depending which condensed milk you buy, majority of them are: one serving is 2 tbsps, 140 cal, 22 grams of sugar. So her drink is 280-420 cal and 44-66 grams of sugar 😮
Instant coffee ain't Vietnamese coffee. Still looked yummy
