- Homemade sweetened condensed milk is only 2 ingredients, and if I can do it, you probably can too. It's simple, delicious, and goes great on anything from bread to coffee.

@@Jose.elCook Is he taking his medications? He looks scary.
@@Jose.elCook Hahaha good stuff! Fun little easter egg
I thought it was Michael Myers. 😂
That was creepy AF ngl lol
The Jose in the hallway was a great touch! 🤌
El stalker
It was a jumpscare to me
A bit scary!
Like I saw him, and got scared for you. I was like, "no, turn around."
Scariest recipe video I've ever seen and liked.
Sooo creepy! 😳😱🥛😂
So worth it, no preservatives and I can use non bleached processed sugar, like sucanat or pilloncillo! Thanks for the recipe. 🌸
Yes you can! Enjoy!
That slurp scared me. Cochino!
Thank you for mentioning these two sugars. I've never heard of them before.
It took 2 hours+ to make. Not worth it
@@blackbox5141you def did something extremely wrong lol. I made it two days ago and it took 40 min
THANK YOU! My daughter is a baker. She’s lactose intolerant and we only consume organic ingredients. YOU HAVE SOLVED A HUGE ISSUE FOR HER! Thank you, Jose! You’re the best! ❤️
Whats weird is a looked up a recipe for this just 7 hours ago lol
But this is made with milk so she wouldn’t be able to have it unless she uses lactaid, right?
@@CheapsKate77 We buy organic raw milk from our neighbors and put lactase DROPS in it. After 30 minutes, the lactase enzymes consume the lactose and she’s good to go! We get the liquid lactase at that big A€#%0n store online. 👍🏼
@@dgooshe We were just talking about this in our family, too!
@@CheapsKate77 she could make it with lactose free milk, or a non-dairy milk.
i tried this recipe, instead of 3 cups of milk, i used 2 cups and 1/2 cup sugar. it took more than 1 hour to get thicken, maybe because i started on low heat to prevent from burning. now it is on airtight jar, i'll check in the morning and update my comment
Edited: after one night in fridge, it thickened and tastes amazing. Thank you very much for the recipe
thank you for the recipe, Jose. where i live currently, i couldn't find condensed milk, finally i can have condensed milk to my coffee
1:12 after seeing that figure at the door, I feel like I have to make it now.
😂😂😂 he's friendly
I came for the recipes, but I'm staying for this foo's humor
And I'm here to provide you value+entertainment 🔥 thank you!!!
I didn't know it was so easy to make at home 🤩🤩
So so easy!!!
Honestly I love the honesty with these cooking videos
Something about your videography is so satisfying to watch. Also the condensed milk looks bomb I’ll definitely make it!
When stuck at home during a winter storm and you need some sweetened condensed milk... well here's a recipe. 🥛🥄 Thanks Jose! 👍
I love these videos! Simple, sweet, and easy to follow, you're the best!
Thanks for the honesty
I make my own brown sugar. It is so much more cost effective than buying a 2 pound bag of brown sugar for almost $5. I can get a 4 lb bag of white sugar for $3, and a bottle of molasses for $5. A half cup to 3/4 cup of molasses to a 4 lb bag of white sugar mixed at the lowest speed in your Kitchen Aid mixer yields approximately 8-10 cups of brown sugar. The more molasses you put into the white sugar the darker your brown sugar. I always make light brown sugar. It’s a real money saver if you are a baker. It is stored in a glass jar with a tight fitting top. I also learned to make my own pancake mix that has dried milk powder in it. I also make my own pancake mix.
This was helpful and wonderfully entertaining. I loved the sweetended condensed Jose in the hallway! Thank you for sharing and for the clarity on the costs.
You could even add some flavoring like vanilla. I’d rather make it!!! That way I can control the quality of ingredients. I don’t use it much due to the lactose. BUT, if, I was making homemade Bailey’s Irish Cream, you best believe I’m making it from scratch. PS was that the lactose ghost behind you?
Really great idea
You can also use lactose-free milk! I've had success making condensed milk with it before
Great stuff! Going to try this with some plant-based milk as I have a family history of Cancer so need to avoid the estrogen and possible BLV in dairy. Thanks for sharing
01:12 umm Bro, I hate to say it but I think we are not alone😳
😂😂 just observing
Thank You Jose you are phenomenal. Great easy recipe. Thank you again. Have an amazing weekend.🤗
Thank you so much! This really will help me out in a pinch!!
It's awesome!!
WOOOOOOOOOOO this is super exciting!! I love putting sweetened condensed milk in my black tea!! now I can make this if I don't wanna leave the house!!
Wow, I didn't expect it to be that simple. Makes me want to try adding flavors in it like dehydrated fruits ground into a powder to make like strawberry condensed milk. I love this! I doubt I'll do it much, but it sounds like a tasty adventure.
Oh my god! I thought you had way more subscribers than this?! You’re so underrated!!
Aww thank you! Gathering all el cooks rn
half a mil is nothing to sniff at though 😮💨
Quality of quantity. And if everybody follows everybody then it doesn’t mean much
Underrated channel, keep up the work!
Thank you for sharing this, God bless you and your family❤🎉😊
I just ran across your videos. Loving your style and content. I’m scrolling thru the videos and making notes! Thanks!!
I'm sick right now but this recipe makes me feel better, thank you so so much! >w
I'm convinced that sweetened condensed milk is seriously in the top 10 best tasting things of all time list.
If you make it in large batches for large recipe it might end up saving a lot more money, or if you can get really good quality milk that would make it worth it. I've also seen it made with coconut milk as a dairy free alternative, which I've never seen in stores.
Ninja edit: I believe you can make it in a slow cooker if you don't want to babysit the recipe, especially in larger volumes
The comment I was looking for.
Jose you videos are a breath of frsh air. I enjoy them very much, nnot only you make eady to follow.....you add humor ( mexican humor 😂). Thank you Jose God-bless you and Jesus hugs ✝️ 😊
I've always wanted to know how to make it so THANK YOU 😂😂love your videos
I can’t wait to try this
congratulations on the one million!!!!
Not kidding my stomach dropped like I was watching a horror movie 💀 🐮
💣yes! Making it, coffee sweetener and Bailey’s Irish Cream ingredient Thanks 🙏!
I use it with cacao powder, whole milk, yogurt & vanilla extract to make homemade frozen fudge pops. Yum.
Im definitely going to try making this.
I’ll be making it!
I would actually do this to make my lemon creme pie. Thanks for the recipe.
I was just watching your shorts when this came out, gracias papi
No, thank you! Enjoy it 🔥
❤I’m going to try it🥰
Good way to use up old milk. 😅
Amazing way! Try it
Thank you for the recipe
Amazing! I can’t believe I just made condensed milk! To me it was worth to make it myself because my recipe only needed 1 tablespoon of condensed milk and I didn’t want to go to the store and spend $2.69 for a can. Thank you for the recipe! 😃
Just made it! Well worth it. Thanks! Major thicky points 😁
actually we are in a country that i cant find one of these and this video really helps me
Thanks Chef that was awesome. Carry-on.
I appreciate that friend
You are right, not necessary to make it, BUT, it's good to know how to make it. I love it on bread, any bread with a delicious cup of Cafe! Great on a toasted english muffin, the creamy milk gets into the little crannies
Here in venezuela canned condensed milk can be chaper than the equivalent sugar you need to buy. But it fluctuates, it also depends od the discrepancy between imported condensed milk and locally produced sugar
I really enjoyed watching this, you are kinda funny. And now I can make condensed milk at home
Im a foreigner who has lived in Taiwan for over a decade. It is hard to find it, period. So definitely worth making!
Year ago I made my own condensed (and dulce de leche) and evaporated milk for tres leches using lactose free milk bc my gf at the time was intolerant. It was a lot of standing around making sure it doesnt burn, but to be honest if you are not doing anything or plannon watching a movie anyway it’s only really worth it to make a lactose free version.
I’ve made my own keto sweetened condensed milk but I’ll have to make this for my family.
LOL your 2nd in the background looks eerie 😱 Issaquah, WA🇺🇸
Exciting guy...gonna try this😊
11/10, came for the recipe, stayed for the sleep paralysis doppelgänger that I’ll probably be seeing when I go to bed tonight 👌
You summoned the bad Jose with your recipe! 😂
This looks really easy to make, i should really try it
Can't wait for that cloning tutorial though lol
Thats interesting how it is made…. But I can’t spend my life in the kitchen! 😁. Thanks for showing! ❤
holy crap!! get it at Aldi! it's wonderful and about 1.95 (used to be 89 cents.. ridiculous how expensive stuff has gotten!)! but, it's always good to know how!
I do love sweetened condensed milk.
I would rather anything homemade than store-bought. First of all, it has no ingredients that I don’t recognize or need inside my body. This is probably freeze well or you could Kennett in those jars. I love this recipe and I am definitely going to make it. Thank you.
this is such good content 🤌✨
Got it dear el cook 👍🏼
Tried it with karak chai today. Amazing.
Thanks Jose
I'm making it at home because I don't want to go to the freakin store right now, lots of crazy people there at this time. Anyway, it's good to know how to make stuff like this for just in case of last minute baking emergencies. So, thanks for the recipe!
Yay!!! You popped up on my YT finally
1:14 scared me lol
😂 he's only waiting to eat condensed milk
Same😨
you’re going on my list.
of subscribed youtube channels :)
Love the Freddy just chillin out in the background
Where I live it's hard to find sweetened condensed milk and it easily cost's 8-10 usd for one can, so definitely a money saver for me!
It means it can be made with love which worths more than anything.
You are a mind reader - I was just googling this 😮 Also, I love you 😇
You'll fall in love with this!!
Huh, never thought about making it, but now I know that I can if I ever need to.
this was so entertaining
I’m going to make it in honor of this video
Looks delish!
Do you have a champurrado recipe to share? Thanks
Thanks for the recipe, could I use the same ratios for coconut milk?
Yippie! New upload!
Yippee you're here!!
Thanks for this! I’m gonna attempt to make coffee creamer using this recipe by using less sugar, tossing in vanilla or almond extract and cooking it half the time so it doesn’t get too thick.
Btw, I hope you’re ok!..I saw a guy staring you down from your hallway. 😮 😅
Same stuff as in the store but HEALTHIER !!!
That was...surprisingly easy! And plus I can make lactose free condensed milk.
All my grandbabies have a milk protein allergy. So going to try this with either almond milk or coconut milk. Back in the day we had to make hempseed milk for my oldest granddaughter because there were no alternatives back then
Thanks 👍🏾 😊
my man my man my mannn
Me getting condensed milk is only by homemaking it because you almost can't find this in europe. Thank you very much!
And a coupla minutes in the fridge, we see it is a rich, creamy 5 thicky points in favor🤣, you're on it Jose!👍💯
After done (in a pan on stove)you can add2 spoon of cocoa powder and 10g of butter, stir and you have Brigadeiro, a desert from Brazil l.
I'm going to try this with non dairy milk. ❤
Another plus is no added "stuff", a little heathier.
Exactly which is what I love about it
Thank you
There are store brqnds tgat are cheaper, but the convenience factor still stands. I never use it and mostly try to stay away from milk/lactose and sugar in general. Actually bad for my bones, either one.
But it looks so good!
How about storage? What I like about canned products is that they can stay for a long period of time in the shelf.
Making a huge amount without knowing if it will store for a long time may force me to use it everyday and it's not good for my health haha.
Love an authentic “it’s just okay” video. Was fully prepared for you to call yourself a sweet and contensed DILF at the beginning tho
I needed this, gonna make some Thai tea
It's delicious in my coffee too!!
I used to do it this way but now I use evaporated milk to cut the time in 1/2!
I made this with monk fruit just to see if it'd thicken the same way.
It resulted in something that tastes great but is disappointingly a lot less silky. I guess nothing beats regular sugar.
I love condenced milk and a tin can here is like a can is double the can u showed and costs 250 ish thts 2.40 dollars but it took me like 50 ruppes thats 60 cents to make it at home it saved me like half the money so thanx a lot also a tip for ameture home cooks like me (i am not even a home cook i just try recipies i like ) mine became really chunky so i just put it in the blender and it came out really homogenised.
Of course it is worth
