We still get the manual transmission on the Base ES on the 2023 up here in Canada.

These were great buys under $11000 discounted with manual transmission. I would never buy one for $15000. No way. Nicer economy cars in mid to high teens. Losing the manual is super sad.

⁠what do you suggest that's cheaper? Lemme guess a used corolla or civic with no warranty? People don't buy cheap cars because they have thousands of dollars sitting around to make repairs with...
And don't act like a civic or corolla can't break, they've had their share of issues.
