- A simple review on how to factory reset your windows 7 desktop/laptop fresh out of the box I decided to make my own I found an easier way to do it other videos I looked at were to difficult for no reason tried to make it short and sweet make sure you give your self about 15-20 minutes if you're in a rush takes a little bit but makes your computer as fast as it was when new I hope my review helps you if you forgot to please like and subscribe I appreciate you watching and more reviews on other electronics are coming very soon stay tuned!!! Even in 2024 this still worked 🙏 grandma gave me a computer and I wanted to use it for schoolwork...booted it up and 8 different pop ups (definitely viruses) showed up on the desktop (I don't think they're serious, just stupid downloads). Thanks a bunch for this.

Liquid FireYT It should work in almost all windows 7 platforms regardless the brand, in this tutorial I did not need either a disc or usb so this is all on the computer.

Trying to restore a HP laptop using your instructions but run into trouble when I get to the Advance Recovery Method screen. The screen does not give me the option to Return Your Computer To Factory Condition. The laptop is running Windows 7 Home Premium. Any help would greatly appreciated.
Have you tried typing in “Reset” in the search bar of your computer while on the Home Screen? Some computers are different, I would also try holding down F11 when the system is turning on that might work.

I didn’t use a disk of any sort for this tutorial, Some do require either a disk or usb flash drive with software on it but I didn’t have to with mine.

Prasenjit Chakraborty I would give yourself at least an hour of free time in order to complete this process, it some times can take as little as 10 minutes but that depends on your WiFi connection etc.

Arul Kumaran Everything on the computer will be erased. Unless you perform a backup before doing the restore.
will my videos and pictures in my disk disappear including games?
Not unless you do a back up before restoring.

Patrik Palatinus You shouldn’t need any installation disc if you complete all of the steps in order you should be good.

Do you need internet to reset
I am not 100% sure, I was connected to internet at the time so if I were you I wouldn’t take any chances and make sure you’re connected just to be on the safe side for any interruptions.

Camila 03 You shouldn’t need either of those if you follow the steps correctly you should be perfectly fine.

ImPeanut that’s weird have you went over the steps completely because the only issue I’ve ever had with a computer and the message for restore disk is windows 8 because this tutorial for windows 7 is pretty much putting the computer back to its original format when it came out of the box that requires nothing but just the the set up
