I have an HP with windows 8.1 which I have someone in the household used it for a long time, returned it but forgot my password. Hard as I did to recover to no avail, found you on you tube, followed your instructions step by step and voila, just now at hurry up and wait mode. I'll do a follow up progress when it's done! I purchase a laptop on ebay with NO hard drive . Took another hard drive out my old laptop and put it in my new ebay laptop running windows 7 . Follow your procedure and it work the same way !
