Ghosts'n Goblins (Revisited): Completed, one credit (world version 2)

Time to revisit my favourite arcade game of all time, Ghosts'n Goblins.
I enjoy playing all the old retro arcade games and like to challenge myself to see how far I can get on one credit.
Ghosts'n Goblins is known as one of the toughest arcade games of all time. Many people fail to get past the first stage so this game provides a real challenge. This is the first of 2 videos I am sharing for this game. World version 2 is similar to the Japanese version of the game, it's pretty much the same game with just a couple of minor differences towards the end of the game, notably, Satan only requires 4 hits to kill instead of 8. G+G and its sequel were brutally hard in the arcades. You made it look easy Tony!!

Some people say the sequel is easier but I think it’s harder. I have finally managed to loop it so will have to do a 2nd video on that at some point too

@@RetroRicc I found your channel after watching Alex's latest video. Hilarious to hear you sayng you're rubbish at certain types of games. I doubt that very much :D

@davess61 Believe it or not there are lots of games I’m terrible at. Beat ‘em ups especially! I even started doing a section of “games I suck at”. I definitely need to do more on those

Tony I was wondering have you played Resurrection and if so how did you find it??

Yes, I like it but nowhere near as much as the arcade originals. I personally think they made it way too difficult, but as you can just keep continuing, you can still complete it. I wish they’d made it much more like an arcade game and stuck with the arcade difficulty, x amount of lives then game over
