So, Geoff doesn't like playing bad guys, Layne makes him do it. Which is too bad because he is very good at it. I love the interaction of Geoff and Cesar in this and Damn Mykal! That was high. I think the part that I have seen people sleeping on in this video is Layne. Some of the looks he gives! And beatboxing, while looking scared when Geoff grabbed him was awesome. Over all I love this one. Would like to throw out though, good wishes for them and their families right now as they are all Orlando based. Thanks for this one guys, great job as always.
The rap section that the hyenas did was Layne’s way of including a lot of the dialogue of the hyenas while not breaking up the flow of the song. Plus it gave the guys a little chance to shine for a moment and Mykal to let loose with a couple of really high notes. Mykal is supposed to be appearing in another video soon with a little more time devoted to him. They probably filmed it about the same time as they did this but he’s not in their Halloween special. I was waiting for this song since I saw the little part in their "ACA Top 10 Disney villians" some years ago 🙈 Geoff gives us the perfect "bad guy" and it's amazing how he gets so convincing, when you know he's such a nice and humble guy in real life 😊 Geoff to voice Scar in a Lion King movie? They added beatboxer, Scott Porter, and changed their name to '4-2-Five' and became active and well known locally in central Florida. Mykal left the group to pursue a career on Broadway and Scott Porter left the group to pursue an acting career in Hollywood (both of them have been very successful). They regrouped with Tony Wakim and Eli Jacobson and changed their name to Voice Play around 2012. They do have plans for Mykal as a featured guest again soon in the near future. Voice Play will be releasing their new Halloween cover to the public soon (already released to patrons) and it is absolutely epic! Keep and eye out for that one.😃
