  • Engine basics: 4.5" Bore, 4.5" Stroke, CNC Ported Heads with +1mm valves is all 4 corners, 64mm Throttle body & Intake manifold, 8.2 g/sec Injectors.
Cycle-Rama CR536 Camshaft. .536"lift, 250 degrees on the intake, 260 degrees on the exhaust, intake closes 50 degrees ABDC.
Screamin' Eagle Heavy Breather & FREEDOM Sharp Curve Radius Exhaust.
The last few power runs were done with the air filter removed as it was far too restrictive for the big 143ci engine.
I have to be clear & remind some people that I do NOT have full freedom to design & build engines for my customers, I can only suggest what I know to be the best. The final decision comes down to the customers own budget & preferences.

Awesome build Master Tech Miller!! I turn 62 next month and buying a new Harley Low Rider ST for my birthday. My last bike was a 2007 842 lb street glide with the monster 88 Vtwin 🤣. Being much older I wanted a lighter bike I could ride around town and also go on two - three hour cruises. I can't imagine how much fun the stock 117 engine will be and I am not going to do a thing but add new pipes. You are one badass with that engine build. I think that engine would pull the tendons out of my shoulder when I twisted the throttle. In any event have fun mate and safe travels. And changing the subject, I am a musician and have tinnitus from too much loud noise over the years. Make sure you protect your hearing especially when working on these monster engines everyday. Tinnitus is no joke and having permanent ringing in my ears sucks so just want fellow riders and musicians to be aware of this condition and protect your hearing. PS.....you have a new subscriber. Love your channel. You rock brotherman!!

If miss used and abused, any drive trains components will fail even if they're a tough aftermarket option.
Thr OEM compensator has been replaced with the billet steel option & the clutch has the upgraded 1275nm springs in it.
For day to day riding around & having the off bit of 'fun' the OE transmission will be fine. Sure they're known to break 3rd gear from time to time but that was a risk the owner wanted to take at this stage.

For Harleys to be dyno tuned does a power vision need to be purchased?

    • @MasterTechMiller
      @MasterTechMiller  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

No. There are a few different types of aftermarket tuning devices. Power Vision is one of them. Direct Link from Technoresearch is another, TTS is another one.

    • @MasterTechMiller

The engine cases had to be removed from the chassis for machine work. The 4.5 inch cylinders won't fit otherwise.

@Jay Pee I built the bike mate. The customer paid.
The cylinder heads are roughly $3500 the piston & cylinders are $2500
      Camshaft $600
      Exhaust system $1800
Machine shop for case boring & cylinder decking $800
      Compensator ramp $699
      Dyno tune $650
      Adjustable pushrods $500
      Labour $1716 that's roughly $12765
      Intake manifold, $900
      64mm throttlbody $600
Misc gaskets, seals, oils etc takes it up a fraction more.
I said ROUGHLY 15k in response to the previous comment. Some guys may want a different air filter setup which again will add to the cost.

If it ever gets produced and isn't neutered by epa. Also not a harley engine or even air cooled engine. So ... is it really that impressive. There are alot of v twin sport bikes laying down that power in that wieght category.. have bin for many years... rsd just designed the super cruiser to look like a fxr. That's it.. nothing else special thier. It's literally recycled Buell parts from thier sports bike.. with a rotax engine.. I mean I like it as well. But intill you can buy one.. it's a one off custom bike.

Plus he is putting down similar power to king of the baggers bikes... and he's got lame duals killing the torque curve.. the king of the baggers bikes are still 100pnds heavier than the super cruiser... and turning lap times with in 2 seconds of the super bikes. With a 7 thousand rpm limit this year enforced..In production frames with horrible geometry not suited for racing. Thier is something to be said about the near 1:1 hp to torque numbers these high hp harley engines put out. Something the water cooled rotax does not have.. but its also half the displacement.. in all fairness... but rotax also is NOT a American company.. so it's not technically a American super cruiser

      @noonespecial1217 ปีที่แล้ว

@@dormantmenace first of all you spelled “their” wrong. In that context it’s “there”.
So now we’re comparing the Buell Super Cruiser to Kyle Wyman’s $175k Factory Harley
Moto America race bike? With its full custom Magneti Mareli event based strategies ECU, full data log suite acquisition, plus the addition of a 6 axis IMU? A $20,000 full custom one piece CNC cut 7071 billet aluminum (adjustable pivot) swing-arm, custom sub frame and triple trees to correct the geometry that you think is stock😆 Even the steering neck races have been altered to decrease rake and trail for increased agility- (steering neck itself must maintain original geometry per AMA rulebook).
The primary frame geometry is mandated to retain stock, however, it’s flex characteristics have been altered with allowable gusseting per AMA rule book. Ohlins FGR 300 Superbike Forks-custom valved not only for ‘this’ particular bike and rider, but for this particular track, on this particular day to run lap times that are within two seconds of AMA super sport, and a mere five seconds off from Superbike. Jason Kehl (lead managing engineer, Screamin eagle USA) had plenty to say to me in person while I spoke to him ‘directly’ in the pits •AT• the race in Daytona.
Yes, the Buell is water cooled. Yes, it’s only 1190 cubic centimeters, (72.6) cubic centimeters. Yes, it lacks bottom and torque due to its stroke. It also maintains higher horsepower by letting the rotating assembly spin almost twice as fast as your Harley.
Similar to a Formula One 1.6L spinning at 15,000 RPM making over 900hp.
2023 AMA rulebook states rpm to not exceed 6000-so these motorcycles have half a chance of actually finishing a race without blowing up, unlike superbikes that run engines with a Rotax motor that can live through it😆
I can see I’m getting nowhere with someone of your supreme intelligence who believes the Earth is flat and wants to compare a potential prototype, which btw.. as of Feb 2023 has no finality of the primary frame, gas tank, seat or exhaust per Chris Pobanz of Buell.
Alright, Schools or son✌️ maybe I’ll see you out on track with your monster machine!
Have a better day brother. Done with this thread. Late
