Never been fishing in the ocean but you have me wanting to do it even more. Love fishing in local lakes and rivers so now I have to go big. Great video

Just think of all the good fish you could grill on the big Green egg.
My sister and her fantastic husband grilled us some amazing swordfish earlier this year. And he smoked it it was so good.
Thank you so much for watching the video. Glad you enjoy the video.

Yes this was definitely a fun experience for me. At home I have three lakes surrounding my house. Lots of fun fishing but this was my first time ever fishing in the ocean. I have done shore fishing in the ocean but never caught anything.
Thank you for watching the video.

I loved this video. I have my pontoon boat, but I do look forward to being on the ocean sometime. I go to the ocean for my vacations, but from the vantage of the beach.

You and I both. This was probably only the second time I was ever out in the ocean on a boat. But the first time I ever went fishing out in the ocean. Always just fished from the shore.
Thanks for watching another video and I have been keeping up with yours. Got to watch the train ride by in the last video. My wife and I were in bed and I had the phone well I was laying down and all the sudden the horns from the train went off and my wife jumped up out of bed saying what was that. LOL it was funny. God bless enjoy the rest of your week.

Hi Vincent! This is so cool! I used to fish with my Dad and Grandpa and have always wanted to take them ocean fishing. I think what I like the best about your excursion though was that you got to meet so many similar and great visually impaired people. I would love to do that. This is awesome. Corey told me how cool your video was put together too with the video and picture inserts. Great job! Matt

Well thank you for the comment and the picture inserts and video inserts would have been good if I could have seen what I was trying to film or takes photos of. LOL I tried getting a video of the pier raising up but instead it was cut off by a third but I threw it in the video anyway. Hahaha
I'm trying at least and that's what matters getting better at it each and every time. Your videos I have noticed are changing a little bit as well. You're doing a great job I hope you get that Molly Burke collab. LOL

Great video and I am glad you enjoyed your time. I did go fishing as a child with my father did I enjoy the fishing no to be honest but I did enjoy being outside and I did enjoy being near the water I have never been on a boat that part would be super cool - the fishing no to be honest but what I did enjoy is hearing that you're out and enjoying life no matter where it is fishing in the ocean or whatever it is but to not let a visual impairment or anyting stop an individual from enjoying life. Thanks for the videos!

    • @myvisuallyimpairedlife5674

A few people that were on that trip we're completely blind with no light perception. so it was really cool to know that everybody was still having a blast. And not one person got sick on the boat which was amazing. Just fun in the sun.
You should definitely try to go fishing again it's very relaxing. You might end up liking it now. But if not that's okay just get out there on a boat to go enjoy the sunset. Thanks for watching the video I'm glad you liked it and have a blessed week.

Glad you had a great time. I haven’t gone fishing of any kind in a while. I do remember the division of blind services taking out a group of kids when I was young fishing on the ocean. Which was only natural growing up in Miami.

Then all you have to do is get on a boat and get out there. I don't know how far you are from New Hampshire but next year around June can always call to see if there's any available seats for the boat trip.
And I am so glad I was able to make you hungry. Hungry for fun in the sun I hope though. LOL

Hi Vincent. Nice video. Glad to hear that you had a great time on the boat. Sounds like it was really fun. I have never gone fission on a boat before. Don’t really think that I want to try it but, you make it sound very interesting.

    • @myvisuallyimpairedlife5674
      @myvisuallyimpairedlife5674  5 ปีที่แล้ว

You never know until you try. I didn't write that quote by the way. LOL
being serious though you should definitely try to go. There is many other things to enjoy while out in the ocean other than just trying to catch a fish. We had a whale close to the boat however I was not able to see it which was disappointing. But sometimes whales are dolphins come really close. There's a lot of beauty out in the ocean to be seen and felt. For example, a nice cold breeze but as soon as the breeze stops you feel the heat from the sun against your skin. Life is grand there's so much for us to try and do so get yourself out there. Thank you for the comment and thank you so much for watching the video.

Really great video. I went fishing in the ocean when I was younger, I didn’t have very much vision but I have more than I do now. Same with the paintball video I’m going fishing in the ocean soon with my BF because he just prove to me that I can do it. You had a part in that. Thank you I think LOL I don’t know if I’m gonna like fishing

I'm so happy to hear that you're getting yourself out there. We tend to forget how much world still around us let me have vision loss. I'm very proud of you and I hope you have a lot of fun. Thank you for watching the video

Wow Vinny, what an amazing experience! You did a great job of drawing us a picture of what it was like to go deep-sea fishing. I do not like to fish. I do not like to touch fish. I rarely eat fish. But I did enjoy a Viking River cruise and and I owned a one-man catamaran sail boat as a teenager and young adult that I sailed all by myself on one of our local lakes. No fish though. I would however, after this video, really consider coming to New Hampshire and joining this VIP group next year. This experience seems like an opportunity of a lifetime and one that anyone would enjoy, fish or no fish! Great, great video Vinny!

    • @myvisuallyimpairedlife5674
      @myvisuallyimpairedlife5674  5 ปีที่แล้ว

The cool thing about this trip was when I caught my fish I didn't have to touch it at all. One of the crew comes up and takes it off the hook for you and then offers to filet it and package it if you decide to keep it.
but like I said in the video the fish I caught was like 20 ft long so it was way too big to fit in the car so I just threw it back in the ocean. LOL
it would be amazing if I was able to meet the famous Beverly at the next fishing trip. But call early to get in because they only fit 60 to a boat. The trip last 2 hours so it's not out for long. But it is still a ton of fun. Thank you so much for watching the video Beverly the trip also would be in June and I hope to see you there. Bring your husband cuz he would be free admission as well.
Oh yeah, guide dogs are welcomed as well. I would love to meet your dog

Vincent Grasso My Visually Impaired Life I think I would be coming just to meet the famous Vincent Grasso and I bet they would just mean Rome around the deck, talking to the real fisherman I am just laying out to get some awesome northeastern son. I would not bring Jerry the boat as he gets motion sick. Jerry could stay shoreside and visit his brother and nephews and countless other relatives that live in New Hampshire and Vermont. This just sounds like truly, and experience of a lifetimexz and don’t think I want to come up there in the next few days. My brothers in law and their wives who are truly like my sisters, are all gathering at goose pond, they all have cabins there and I am just about on the verge of booking mine and Jerry‘s flight maybe to include Elizabeth for the fourth of July weekend. We have done this over many many summers throughout the years. We usually fly into Manchester because it’s a small airport and we like that. But I have a nephew in Boston who would be happy to meet us there and drive us to New Hampshire. Just saying, don’t be surprised! This was an outstanding experience and I am so glad you shared it with all I have asked, just proving once again, you can continue to live your life and have fun with or without vision. Thanks Vinny, love Beverly

My husband and I love fishing and my husband’s company actually has a deep sea fishing trip every year, but it’s always on our anniversary so we usually have other things planned. Plus it’s not free lol but we still would love to go! That’s amazing that they have that available to visually impaired people!
My husband really likes Blue Moon and they have a citrus one I think or maybe it’s the Oktoberfest one that I like. I do love me some Angry Orchard tho! Lol

And you and your husband should definitely try to get out on that ocean to go deep sea fishing. You should convince his work to let you go.
Also, I don't know if you have tried leinenkugel lemon shandy. That is a great tasting beer. it kind of goes down like water so you can drink a lot and it goes really good with food.

I love to fish but we do it in lakes and rivers. I went deep sea fishing off the coast of Florida before my vision started goung. We saw dolphins and whales. If you are blind you can get a permanent fishing license for the blind for your state. I got mine last year.

    • @myvisuallyimpairedlife5674

Well I am glad you got that license I am in the process of getting one myself.
There was whales but I could not see them and I was a little upset about that. I did try filming them however I cannot look through the eye finder or at the screen on the back of the camera so I just shoot from the hip. Unfortunately I was not able to capture the whale.
But the trip was amazing and a ton of fun. thank you for watching and it's always good to hear from you in the comments section.

Wow, awesome experience and so glad that you got a chance to do it and go. Where did you say you guys had to go to meet on this boat? I'm so happy that you got the experience and the chance to do it.
In other news, from a previous video that you made about shaving your head, or your beard. I shave my face except for my mustache part and I also shave my head bald. So that's how I shave.
By the way are you going to be doing a video on your experience on using the I can't think of the name of the item that you use to see things with. You said you were going to do a final review on it and tell us you know your final thoughts about how it's been doing for you. I've been waiting for that video so I can't wait to see it soon.
Take care of my friend and keep it real and just keep up the great work and wonderful adventures that you are doing. Hugs to you my friend

Well thank you for this awesome comment these are the comments I love.
well number one thank you for liking the video and shaving a mustache is harder than trimming a beard. Getting that perfect mustache could be a real hassle at times.
When it comes to the orcam I am making a new video on that soon. The only reason I have not done it yet was I wanted to give myself a month or a little more to play with it. also, I had so many other things going on in between I wanted to get those out in the open first. I have a couple more videos probably before the or cam video.
and when it comes to where was I I was in New Hampshire and a town called Seabrook. In the description part of my video I have the full address. I cannot remember it right now in top of my head. But it was the eastmon fishing fleet that paid for us to go out on that awesome trip.
I'm glad that you left me a comment it was an awesome one the more I could chat up with somebody about the better. Thanks for watching the video and I hope you don't get any sunburn on that head of yours. LOL have a blessed week and enjoy the weather

But make sure you keep in touch with me so next year around the same time perhaps round April get in touch with me and we'll get it all the information squared away and we can meet up and hang out on the boat. That would be awesome

This video was great! I’ve been deep-sea fishing before, and I loved it. That’s crazy you like blue moon, because I love blue moon myself. I think we’re gonna have to get together and metal detect and drink a couple blue moons. Do you like yours with or without an orange slice?

    • @myvisuallyimpairedlife5674
      @myvisuallyimpairedlife5674  5 ปีที่แล้ว

Well all my closest friends make fun of me and call me fruity. LOL yes I'm guilty of liking my beers that have a little bit of an orange or lemon tinge.
If I'm at a restaurant and they had me in Orange I am definitely going to add it to my beer. Unless my daughter steals it first. LOL
usually, at home I just drink it straight from the bottle no orange needed. but wheat beer is definitely my favorite type of beer. You should try leinenkugel Summer shandy. That beer is fantastic and it's got a lemon zing to it.
I don't know how far from New Hampshire you are but we definitely need to get together one day in the future.
I did end up going out that other day. My neighbor's kids are teenagers and they absolutely were in love with it. All they found was an old 19 60s Coca-Cola cap. And they thought it was the coolest thing ever.
Thanks for watching the video and it's always awesome to hear from you. Enjoy the rest of your week
