Baby Elephant Khanyisa’s Oopsies 🐘 All Her Cute Stumbles with the Herd

- There have been many stumbles along with those rumbles over the months since Khanyisa first arrived… as she tried to find her legs as they grew and grew beneath her.
The herd rallied around her to help her up or comfort her while she gained more stability on those strange pegs holding her up! But she had a knack for always getting right back up when she fell. This has been true to her spirit too. Her persistence and perseverance are inspiring and sees to be natural traits, in spite of the hard beginning she endured as a snare survivor and orphan.
Thank you for all the lessons, Sunshine! To everyone in the UK, mourning the loss of the Queen 🇬🇧 we hope Khanyisa brings you a smile on a sad day.

It's amazing how the other elephants all stop around her when she falls over. She is absolutely gorgeous and so funny to watch when she is out with the others.

Ohhh i loved these, so adorable, and how the Herd reacted, i think she loves these attention and stumbles sometimes by purpose, to recieve this shower of love from al the trunks around her.

I love her little clumsy self. Our little pink one is so amazing. I love her little blankets so much. She did do that last fall for attention. I did see that. How amazing our friends are for the way they all come to Khanyisa's aid very quickly.

What I loved most about the last tumble that I remember from that time was that the others pushed her to the centre of the road out of the loose sand. It is always amazing to see the problem solving and empathy for each other. I am always amazed with the interactions. Love from Australia 🤟😎☮️👍
Yes! After she stumbled the second time, they firmly guided her to the middle of the road! It was so wonderful to see!
Elephants are AMAZING-- and the Jabulani herd seems even more so, imo, as many of them were orphans. They are extraordinary in their depth of sympathy/empathy, caring and attentiveness to our precious Khanyisa, from day one💞🐘🐘🐘💞

Comparing the little one’s size and weight, to the older elephants and how much she will grow and weigh in the future, it is amazing to see. It gives us a glimpse to the past and how huge prehistoric mammals were.

Lots of skinned knees growing up. Just tried to balance the big body, the truck out front, and those little stumpy legs. But the herd to the rescue!! So amazing to watch their and everyone's care as she grew and learned her balancing act. She is a true 'tightrope' walker now!!! 💕

What a silly girl! I never knew that she fell so much lol! I remember the two falls on the road. I think the first one was an accident, the second was definately on purpose for the attention. She's quite the attention getter isn't she. Is she a spoiled baby? Oh yes definitely! ❤🐘
