Thay are STILL a LOVING ELEPHANT HERD aka FAMILY!! They're NOT Behind BARS in CAPTIVITY..Like a ZOO or CIRCUS. They have ACRES + ACRES of WILD RESERVE with EVERYTHING they would have as a WILD HERD...Water, grass, trees, bushes, marula fruit, mud, sand, etc!! They still need to be on high alert for + coexist with WILDLIFE such as Lions, rhinos, elephants, crocs, hippos, etc!! The Jabulani Herd exists due to Human Intervention + have learned to Trust + Coexist with humans!! That is really the ONLY DIFFERENCE between these ELLIES + the WILD HERDS that SHARE This Reserve!! I, for one, Love,Respect + am Grateful for These PRECIOUS + BEAUTIFUL CREATURES + The KIND, CARING PEOPLE who DEDICATE Their LIVES to LOVING, SAVING + NURTURING THEM❤️💚🐘🐑🐶👱♀️👨🌾👩🌾🙏💞 You Should be as well❣️
Their affection for each other is unmistakable. Standing close and touching. I'm so grateful they have each other to connect with. I was always the pesky little sister, so I understand how important it is to have that connection. 😊 The shots of them napping together are the best.
Thank you for these warm glimpses into the relationship between Khanyisa and Timisa. It was so sweet and fun. Khanyisa has a wonderful life at the HERD and is so lucky to have a patient, caring sister in Timisa. ❤
This video made me realize how beautiful (like Bubi) and "mostly" patient Timisa is with the feisty baby Khanyisa who's never ending spirit and will to live is inspiring. I'm grateful for every one of your videos! Thank you.
The bond between these two little angels was & is the cutest thing! I reckon Khanyisa would have thrived being in the herd regardless, but having another youngster in Timisa has helped her healing & adaptation into the herd immensely 💕🥰🙏🐘
Timisa’s life was greatly enhanced when Khanyisa joined the herd. Her affect seemed so much flatter in the beginning. She has no choice but to step up now! My favourite interaction was the time Khanyisa drove poor Timi to distraction and she finally cried out. I believe it was Fishan who came running first, followed by Tokwe and Lundi. The two adoptive Moms sorted things out with Tokwe consoling the frustrated Timisa. Anyone else remember that one. Tokwe’s obvious love and concern just melted my heart. ❤️🇨🇦
I remember that one too. That’s when I really started noticing how Fishan kept an eye on Timisa. He’s like an uncle that never gets in your way but he will be there in a flash if you need him.
That is one of my very favorite videos which I’ve watched over and over because it’s so funny and heartwarming at the end! It was amazing how fast Fishan, Tokwe, and Limpopo responded when Timisa let out a trumpeting call for help. 🎺 Little did they know that she was just at her wit’s end with frustration when little Miss Sunshine wouldn’t stop being a pushy brat.. Lol! 😂
Those two little Ellies are the sweetest thing ever It is so heartwarming to see the special bond they are sharing when they are cuddling when Timisa is watching over little miss Sunshine making a nape Timi is very patient sometime with her pushy pesky little sister Timisa is a beauty I love her heart shaped head and her sparkling big eyes
It never ceases to amaze me how this herd has come together to form a family. We, as humans, can learn so much from our animal brothers and sisters. It doesn't matter if your color is different or the same parents as shared, we are all part of the human family. Lets learn from this beautiful family.
Just like most sisters really, except these two are hilarious 🤣 Timisa has a lot more patience than I ever did. Also so fun to witness Khanyisa’s personality developing🥰
Many decades from now, I long to see these two playful young girls as stately elder ladies- and maybe even Matriarchs, leading a formidable HERD. Because unfortunately, humans will never stop their selfish greed, murder, and exploitation of even the most endangered of animals. Which means there will always be a need for the amazing rehabilitation and sanctuary program at HERD. I’m hoping someone far wealthier than me will agree, and support these beauties forever.
I'm a big sister too, Timi. I totally understand. 😁 What a beautiful video compilation!! So many funny antics and touching moments between sisters, especially when Timi tried to get Khanyisa to nurse from her!! That was amazing to see from such a young ellie! Thank you again for sharing this with us, HERD! ❤️🐘❤️
This video is one of my top favorites I just love Timisa. She is so beautiful and her eyes are so expressive. Seeing her and Khanyisa like this just makes my day. I'll be rewatching this a gazillion times! Thank you all!
@@herdelephantorphanage Thanks so much for taking the time to reply to me. I just peeled a delicious orange here in Chicago.... and would you believe it's from South Africa! Nice weekend to all. Gonna watch this video again and again.

This video is so sweet, my tooth aches. Love seeing all the nudges, pushes & trunk wraps between these two young girls. They’re bonded for life. Another beautiful video to add to the vault Adine. ❤️
Oh I definitely feel the same way I think about her often whenever I see Miss Courageous and Sunshine playing together she would’ve fit right in. All those injuries had ravaged her little body by the time she was found at least her last 3 weeks were full of comfort love and safety and she wasn’t alone.❤️❤️🥹🥹🐘🐘
@@shannondominguez9725 Every day I say good morning to her as I look at her picture on my coffee cup. Oh how I cried and cried when she unexpectedly passed away. Whenever I make a donation now, I always put down that it’s being made in the honor of Fenya, our herd’s little guardian angel. 🕊🐘😇
Sweet Timisa I think tried to push the boundaries with someone and got in trouble from Bubi some years ago I seem to recall. It is part of herd family life learning those boundaries I suppose. Must be a tough transition at times from youngster to more of a grownup with different expectations from the elder elephants. Timisa really is a little beauty with her big soft round black eyes. These two together!
Awww ❤️❤️ This is so beautiful and magical! I love how big sister Timi tried to get Khanysa to nurse. She was doing exactly what human children do too; just copying behaviour she's seen from the other cows. So much of this is pure, amazing love ❤️ I'm in tears at how lovely this is ❤️💖🐘🇨🇦
I remember in the beginning everyone was worried about the little pink elephant baby being accepted by the JABULANI herd. Turns out little Khanyisa is a BRAVEHEART & is fearless at a whole 3 yrs of age. LOVE HER !!!!🇺🇸👏🏻🙋🏼♀️👍🏻🐘
Even though Timi was still a youngster herself she is so patient and kind towards Khanis. Such a reflection of the patience and kindness she receives from her herd and the carers.
Like all little ones interaction like theirs is essential for helping them thrive! So special to see them together. Timi seems to smile when she is with Khanyisa! 💕🐘🐘
Timisa is absolutely beautiful and so so patient with Khanyisa its pretty amazing she never ever got upset maybe once and its normal with as it is with us humans, she was the only baby of the HERD for a while this is probably her first time meeting and playing with another baby elephant it just shows how they are so intelligent so loving with one another ellies are, but these two just love each other and our khanyisa is the absolute ray of sunshine in our lives, and I think she was giving Timisa some kisses too, its so adorable now in 2024 they are such incredible friends. thank you

This is the best documentary about two young elephants' interactions, play, love, and pestering. That video should win a prize. Princess K. Is a lovely little pest, her big sister can't get away from her and will not. By the way, Timisa is a beautiful elephant have you seen her eyes? Thank you so much for this, it is the ray of sunshine of my day.
Thanks for Posting. I remember the first time K was released into the Herd in the Wilderness. She ran toward them. They ran towards her. What a Sight ! I think the Elders misread that situation and Circled around K in a Protective Stance--thinking she was running from Her human Care People to the herd. Trumpeting, Rumbling, all the Warning Signs were in the Air--Stop here !! Wild animals in the Wild are still wild and is something that should be remembered. Lovely young Elephant, enduring so much before being Rescued. Now with her Adoptive Family--Animal and Human.
Khanyisa and Timisa have such a strong bond with one another. It is so fascinating to watch them interact. It is interesting the way they gravitate towards one another. Even though Timisa is an older sister to Khanyisa they still interact as if they are similar age.
You know, our friends here seem to understand about taking care of one another even if one is not family. It just comes from being better than human. They truly care about each other. Us humans really need to pay attention to their behavior. Maybe we should become more like animals. I'm just saying.
What an incredible video! It’s precious! How beautifully Khanyisa has integrated into her family and how beautifully and graciously they have accepted her and groomed her! I can see Khanyisa leading her family one day! She has all the qualities for that role! Bless her and the herd. And bless Adine and her team. You are absolutely incredible human beings. Sending you all loads of love and blessings 🥰
Big sister Timisa and K. 🎶 You've got a friend in me You've got a friend in me When the road looks rough ahead And you're miles and miles From your nice warm bed You just remember what your old pal said, …you've got a friend in me 🎶 ❤❤🐘🐘♥️♥️(R. Newman)
I'm so glad I found this, I've always wanted to see more of these sweet sisters! It warms my heart they (and Kumbura) have formed a sisterhood so the three young orphans who have no biological bonds they can depend on, will always have each other when the herd adoption is not as unconditional os being the biological daughters or nieces of the matriarch (or so it seems to me: for example, when Bubi attacked and injured Timi, and Sebakwe tried to mate with Timi even though she's a juvenile--I can't imagine them doing that to her if she were Tokwe's biological daughter.) Anyway, it's so good to see the three young orphans looking out for each other.
Ohhh This little baby angel needs so many cuddles 🥰 big hugs 🤗!! as you Adine and the team give her team from the beginning at the Nursery !! She needs the same with it’s new family but Tmisa is not used to do that !! but later she gave its attention to khanyisa with its trunk !! Khanyisa is full of love to give ! She is so adorable She copies humans ! copies elephants ! She has 2 families and She is very very intelligent !! later she will be a loving and generous Mum 💕🐘💕🐘 !!
I’m happy to live in a time where I can see these beautiful elephants in their true environment and witness their loving family habits.
lol, this isn't their true environment. It's a sanctuary built by humans to save these elephants. They are having it very easy here.

So beautiful to see the bonding. Cuddly two 💓 💖
Khanyisa and Timisa have such a strong bond with one another. It is so fascinating to watch them interact. It is interesting the way they gravitate towards one another. Even though Timisa is an older sister to Khanyisa they still interact as if they are similar age.
😂😂😂I can ALMOST HEAR Timisa saying Omg Khanyisa I Love You but PLEASE Give it a REST for 5 minutes🤣🐘💚🥰💞
No skipping ads for Timisa and Khanyisa! 🥰
Elephants. Poetry of love. Thank you HERD staff. Love from Indiana USA

Khanyisan& Timisu are the best sisters that could ever be for each other as they grow
to be wonderful adults
Big sister Timisa and K.
🎶 You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
When the road looks rough ahead
And you're miles and miles
From your nice warm bed
You just remember what your old pal said,
…you've got a friend in me 🎶
❤❤🐘🐘♥️♥️(R. Newman)
Thanks to the saviors that tirelessly dedicate their existence to these lovely creatures. Hero’s of planet earth.👍🏻🇺🇸
Khanyisa seemed to have no idea that Timisa was twice her size in the beginning. She just knew she wanted to play!😃
I noticed many humans on you tube don't realize they can choose currentl videos 2024 or 2020 or 2023. ❤
Such a sweet video. So grateful these babies were rescued and have a herd home.
