- Unseen footage of Khanyisa! Watch this footage recently found by Adine from August last year! With so many videos, sometimes some clips go missing. But this gives us a chance to remember Khanyisa’s earlier moments at the orphanage, in her own garden 🐘💚🌳 She spends time lying in the grass with Adine, her feet right up against her human mother, before carer Herman gives her oranges and reminds her of that snack tray inside!

They are some magical moment, because i remember seeing Khanyisa for the first time in her Zebra blanket in 2020, and have been watching videos of her and the herd ever since, i also have adopted her.
What an honor and a privilege for Adine to lay next to this beautiful baby elephant who suffered so much ,but now is growing strong and confident within the herd. Those eyes still mesmerize me and Herman loves her so much. ❤️🐘❤️🐘

There is no greater bond for khanysia than the one she has with Adine. She remembers all those times that she received TLC from Adine where she was in such pain, weak and alone. Adine is indeed her human Mom. Herman is her human Dad who she will always follow. Stavros is her human Granddad who always provides reassurance and yeah treats. It stirred me to see how khanysia was so very careful not to step or injure Adine as she got as close as she could to her. Their love of each other pulls at your heartstrings. Thanks for sharing.
Just a reminder of how hard it must have been for Adine to send her to the homestead. Like any good mom, she did what was needed for Khanyisa’s growth and bond to her herd. I miss Adine’s lullabies too. My eyes get so heavy like she is singing to me. 😂
