Overdramatic. The storybooth stories are most of the time things, that could happen to you in daily life. Of course there too are very uncommon and tragic stories, but at actuallyhappened almost ALL the stories are very overdramatic and exaggerated. 2. Idealism. What makes the storybooth stories very realistic is, that not everything has a happy end. The people get punished, lose friends, get rejected... Obstacles, that everyone will encounter. At actuallyhappened they always have happy and satisfying endings... Unrealistically happy! I mean it is very unlikely, that you will get revenge on your childhood bullies this smoothly! 3. voice. At storybooth the people tell their stories calmly, but not emotionless. They sometimes have an accent and don’t pronounce things perfectly. At actuallyhappened they talk with too much emotion. As if they were citing a poem or something instead of telling their life story. They talk way too clearly and too slow to be authentic. Like they were only acting. They probably do though. 4: characters. The characters, yes CHARACTERS not people, act very unnaturally, like you said. They are most of the time a one dimensional, if not stereotypical, caricature to fulfill a role. Actual human beings are more complex. Everyone has their own life and definitely more than one character trait. Also they act very unnaturally, like the potato example. No actual person would react like that. At storybooth everyone acts more or less believable and character traits aren’t explained and simplified like this.
