Hey there thanks for your videos . when ever i edit my patch and save the patch ,after some hrs the patch disappear and i canot find the patch anymore . I have tried a lot but i never found the patch that i saved . Can you help me with this problem ?? Thanks
Hi there, Karma Tenzin. Thanks for your comment and question. The patch you edit, is it a User Patch or a Factory Preset? A User Patch have a "U" and Factory Preset have a "P". Factory Presets "P" can be edited, but not saved, so if you try to save the Factory Preset, and then power off or switch to another patch, then the settings will be lost.. You need to go to a User Patch "U" in order to save and fully edit patches. If you like a Factory Preset, then simply save it to a User Patch location, and then start editing. Let me know what you think. All the best.

This is really strange what is going on with my GT100 - but making these settings changes is not changing the behavior of the Accel/CTL pedal. It's stuck doing the accelerating zooming sound. I used to make all kinds of assignments with my Boss GT-3 and it was so easy. Is there some system setting that's locking me from making these assignments?

When I use the Clear function the Accel pedal turns the FX2 flanger on and off. Can you help me understand why? I can't find whats doing it in the assigns section. Thanks for the video.
Hey there, Extra Mile :-) Thanks for your comment and question. The clear function? What exactly are we talking about here? :-) I believe you should press the CTL/EXP-button, then find the ACCEL-menu, I believe it's the first icon after you have pressed the CTL/EXP-button. In there you should be able to see if the assign for the Accel is turned on and what it is being set to. Simply turn in off, if you don't wish to have it activated, or change the parameter for the assign, to activate another pedal/effect. It should all be right in front of you on the screen, so try and see what you can figure out :-) Let me know how it goes, Extra Mile :-) I'm sure we can work this out. Have a great one Cheers.
Hey Eric! Sure, it is indeed! You'll have to turn off the looper function, though, to make the loop pedal work as another assign pedal. If you haven't done that, then here's how to: Press the SYSTEM-button, and use knob 4 to scroll until you see the PHRASE LOOP-icon. Then go to the right screen and set the PEDAL FUNC to OFF. That will now disable the looper function and let you use the loop pedal as another assign footswitch. Then simply go and set up the assign, using the loop pedal, and that should be it :-) I hope this helps! If not, or if you have other questions, then comment and let me know :-) Cheers!
Hej man! Do you know how to turn on the preamp tabs that control the mic and cabinet settings. It seems to be disable by default on boss tone control. Thanks
Hi there, Nicolas. You activate the preamp tabs by pressing the gray dot, then it turns red, and it's activated in Tone Studio. Then you can go through the different tabs - 1 through 5 I believe, or maybe more, I can't remember right off the bat... I hope this helps.
Hello, thanks 1000 times for these explanations, they are very helpful ! Really ! I have one question : when you are in the Assign right screen, you can scroll the source, it's ok for me with the Acc/CTL, the Loop, the Exp pedal, but I don't understand what are "sub exp", "sub CTL 1", and moreover CC#1 and so on !
Hey there, @Stéphane 😊 Happy New Year to you. Thank you very much for the kind words. I truly appreciate it! Excellent question, let me explain it: SUB EXP - this is an extra Expression or Volume pedal, if you have an external Volume/Expression pedal that you want to use with the GT-100. It's connected through the rear of the GT-100, where it says "SUB CTL1, 2 / SUB EXP". SUB CTL1 & SUB CTL2 - Basically the same as above - but for external footswitches, like the Boss FS-6 and Boss FS-7. This allows you to add extra footswitches to use with the assigns. So along with the CTL and Phrase Loop on the GT-100 itself, you have the option to add two extra footswitches - for even more control. I do that, and it's great! Lots of options and possibilities! The CC#1, etc. is MIDI. I haven't used that much, but the MIDI connections on the rear lets you control different gear, etc. through MIDI. The Owner's Manual has a section about this. That's the "basics" of it, really. I hope this makes sense. Let me know if you need anything else, I'd be happy to help out! Cheers!
