Probably in Ikaria, Greece. I've tried some of those dishes. Olive Oil Soup with eggplant and local vegetables with an Olive Oil Bottle at the table to add even more olive oil. Although, Ikaria *IS* a "Blue Zone" where 1/3rd of the population lives into their 90s. ... So ... drink up!
This is probably stuff she's been trying to tell people for ages. But shitty managers don't listen to their staff when they raise concerns. The waitress was probably glad that issues are finally being raised.
The mezza platter at 4:34 looks great. They use a lot of olive oil like that in Lebanon, Syria, etc. It’s authentic, it goes all over the top of hummus and baba.

I love that he treats the waiters so nicely knowing they have no choice in what is served. Unlike some people have the nerve to yell at the waiters like they have any control
It's because he knows exactly how a restaurant is supposed to run; from the top down, and if there are problems, it's generally coming from the management end of things.
