    What is the normal oil psi at idle once the engine dd15 is already warm?

      I thought it was between 5-25 psi

    What you think of a DD15 taking 2 gallon of oil every 1100-1500 miles, truck runs great no smoke no leaks

    So your saying that it’s fixed now? Cause I’m seeing the same thing with my dd15 when it’s starts it shoots pass 50. Is that normal or my oil rings need to be fixed?

    • @madmotorrepair1748
      @madmotorrepair1748  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No that's not normal, this a video of the oil pressure, after replacing the o-rings in the pick up tube, if it runs and goes down past 30 psi, I would suggest the o-rings are bad, I do have video on that, hope this helps you, and answers your questions ☺

    And when it’s idling it slowly goes down pass 30. What the problem?

    • @AlbertoHernandez-zg9wb

      It is normal as long as it doesn't go below 15, oil pressure drops as oil temp gets higher.

      @@AlbertoHernandez-zg9wb Hi Alberto, I have a DD13 and my oil gauge when idling goes down past 25 right where the "psi" letters are. Sometimes is at 25 exactly but sometimes does go below 25. Is that normal? Thank you

    Thanks
