While nostalgia can be a nice place for our minds to wander in... I find it too tempting to be used as an escape from what's in front of us... It can fill you with many negative emotions if you constantly compare how nice the old times were and how terrible the current situation is, it can destroy all what's left of your productivity and sanity... its almost like a drug that can be beneficial when admitted in small doses - but can easily get out of hand and consumed in way too high amounts
