✈️ thank you again for the video Sebby! I signed up the Business card with the 100k point offer. Also have the Gateway card after I downgraded from Explorer years ago. Glad to know there is an anniversary bonus for holding a personal card as well!
Got this card last week...definite keeper...2 lounge passes and 5,000 miles in combo with the personal card. New DEN lounges are awesome! As a UA million miler, I get lots of value.
@askSebbyBusiness - a point you know but did not make clear, so for others, the spend on this card ONLY works towards status up until Platinum. After that, to have the spend and the 1K of PQP work towards 1K status - you need to use the 54 PQF and 18,000 PQP approach versus the plain 24K PQP and 4 PQF. AKA for MOST that want max status - this is useless.
✈The United Club (not the Polaris Lounge) in NRT airport outside Tokyo is incredible. It's about a 20,000 sq ft space. Decent size buffet with dim sum, soups, fruits, and more, as well as Kirin and Sapporo beers on draft. They even had showers, although they were closed when I was there.
TBD if I will keep this card. I have the personal Club card too. 7x$100+ United tickets for the $100 credit can turn into a significant amount of spend that could’ve been put toward SUBs. At the same time, I’m depending on 500PQP from cc spend to hit Gold this year. Idk, just a finer line for me since there’s not very much positive value in the end.
wait so the $100 dollar credit isn’t automically posted as a credit, like you need to make 7 different transactions of 100 and more ? like that just beats the purpose if you dont fly more than once a year
✈ Always sticking around for expert mode! As you mentioned.... when it comes to status from spend....American is on a another level from their peers. Guess the next best would be low spend companion pass offers from SW when they run? Awesome video!
Great video. I have chase business cards, but never really gave any thought to the business United, just the personal. ✈ Side note...how bout those Bucks today?!
For me, this is a keeper as I get the 100-dollar credit via using the card for United purchases, along with the 25% back on some purchases - so that is what drives me. Great info as always @AskSebbyBusiness
✈️ BTW, I was able to get a $100 rententio credit on the Quest card last month. I have a decent amount of spend (15k I think, sometimes they run nice mile boost bonuses ) and have redeemed almost 150k in international domestic flights on UA and their allliance planes. I’m on year three of the card. Based on the synergies with the biz cards I probably should pick one up.
Question I recently got this card. Just booked my first flight with it in the United app. I booked for a round trip for two people. One of the legs I upgraded the seats. When the purchase posted to my chase account it appears to show 4 transactions. Each persons air fair and then the two upgrades separately. This card has a $100 credit after 7 purchases. Must be over $100 and the seat upgrades are over this at $109. Did I just create 4 purchases with this one flight for 2 people towards the 7 to earn the $100 credit?
Yep! Current breakdown as of the comment: Group 1: Passengers in United Business, United Polaris, or United First class, as well as Premier Platinum and Gold members, Star Alliance Gold members, and others Group 2: Premier Silver members, Star Alliance Silver members, some credit card holders, and paid Premier Access Group 3: Window seats, exit row seats, and nonrevenue passengers Group 4: Middle seats Group 5: Aisle seats Group 6: Basic economy passengers without full-size carry-ons

FYI, you have to put at least one transaction on this card each year to get the 5,000 personal card also bonus.
Good to know!

Ohh I'll have to check it out!

Quest plus Business seems like a fantastic combo. Tons of credits and point bonuses to be had between the two of them.

✈Definitely something to consider given that United is the only airline that serves my city
EWR United Clubs are almost always closed to day pass users. I can’t value that as someone who only flies a few times per year
Does 7 x buying travel banks counts towards earning the 100 dollar ?
Better together program give you 5k points when you have at least one of each personal and business cards.
Can I sleep in the United club lounge? Or only in Polaris?
Great video. I have chase business cards, but never really gave any thought to the business United, just the personal. ✈ Side note...how bout those Bucks today?!
Giannis needed shooting but sad to see Jrue go. Heat fans in shambles.
Is TSA pre check a perk with this card?

25% back? Explain please
@@thedesigner388 The 25% credits occur when you use your United card for United flight charges, like wine, Wifi, Alcohol, and so on

Thanks for the data point!
When you say keeper, are you referring to people with thick profiles?

0% apr first year, no AF first year, for business card

No only to Bilt
✈️ I am “plain” not interested in United business cards. 😌
This Chinese guy knows a lot about western credit cards.
✈️🛫🛬 do you think the government shutdown will cause cancelled flights at the airport?
Doubt the shutdown will happen.
