It’s a nice card for the bonus imo Also not sure if you know about this but the club card recently got redesigned. The new one feels a lot heavier than the old design
I have the club card. I got it for the 90K bonus. The annual fee of 525 isn’t worth it even though I managed to visit United club 4 times in my most recent trip. Also something I want to point out is that the club card recently got a new design. Compare both and the new design feels a lot heavier more similar to sapphire reserve After one year I’ll downgrade to the Explorer card since it’s so easy to utilize all the benefits
1. I know this can vary, but im interested in the gateway card. Does anybody know the score range that Chase would want? 2. What I dislike is that i love the perks of the explorer card, but my monthly spend aligns with the Gateway card. I need a cagetory for gas for my setup. Also, if you're a MileagePlus member, and you purchase an economy ticket or above, you get 7x miles by booking with the gateway card. More if you qualify for an upscale card.
If that’s the only card you have for gas then gateway is fine but if you have another card for gas the Explorer is easy to justify since taking one trip checking both bags and going to the lounge at least once more than makes up for the annual fee
@naveenthemachine I have a credit one Wander card, and it covers gas, but I want to get rid of them ASAP. I went overseas with it and it was a nightmare. My wander card would not work in many places, but my other credit one card that charges 3% FTF would work. I like the United Gateway card better, and I believe it will work overseas better as well.
@@jaws2003 if you need a good no annual fee gas card there are a few I can recommend 1. Amex BCE 3x 2. Wells Fargo autograph 3x But the gateway is solid too
Thanks for the informative video. Is it possible to get the SUB as cash instead of miles/points? As far as I could see, looks like that is not an option :(
Hello, I really like your videos. I have had the United Explorer card for 2 months and late I realized that the Quest card was the best for me, how long should I wait to upgrade from explorer to quest, what would happen to the points earned and the entry bonus I earned, And if they accept the upgrade I would be eligible for the entry bonus of the new card, thank you very much
Thank you! If you have spent the required amount to receive the signup bonus for the Explorer card I would assume you will keep those miles. If you do upgrade to the Quest card I'm pretty sure all of your miles stay with you, you will just have a new card. I would call the number on the back of your current Explorer card and talk to one of the representatives to see what they say. If they do allow for you to upgrade, just make sure they don't do a hard inquiry, as that will affect your credit score negatively.
have been on chase blk list for 10 years. Applied the card, got mileage, chase closed my acct + refund annual fee
I received a mailer for 80k+4k PQP on the club card and 70k+2k PQP on the quest
Nice!
🥇United Club Card🥇 Hard to beat United Club Access + Premier Access Travel Services. Thanks for the info + video!
Thanks for your comment and for watching the video, I appreciate it!

Why not downgrade to the United Quest card?
@ I’m thinking about that but the annual fee is a lot higher and I don’t usually check 2 bags. And no lounge access on that card either
Nice review - thanks Daniel!
Thank you!

Apparently it is around 670- 850 for the Gateway card, according to credit cards.com

Very nice breakdown.

I wish European customers wouldn’t be excluded from the option of earning PQP through credit cards
I have the united airlines quest card because I have over 5000 mils on united airlines

Hi, thanks for your question!
I don't believe it is possible to convert the miles for cash unfortunately

I wish United cards are not from Chase
You can just go for the Amex Delta SkyMiles Cards!
I KNOW RIGHT!!! They hate me
