HONDA CRF250L Larger Gas Tank Installation - After Market Made Easy

Step by step instructions for installing the IMS 3.5 Gallon aftermarket fuel tank on a 2020 Honda CRF250L in preparation for a trip from Vancouver, British Columbia to the Arctic Ocean in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.
Hope this helps. The new fuel tank worked awesome and really extended my range on the trip. Put approximate 10,000KMs on it during the trip and had no problems at all. I definitely recommend going to a larger tank if you plan on doing long rides as it cuts down the number of times you have to stop, and can enjoy longer riding.

Hi Mac:
It is no problem putting the stock seat back on. I did end up replacing the stock seat with an aftermarket Seat Concepts one which I found way more comfortable. I don't remember the brand of the top rack I had in this video. I'll try to find an old receipt. I ended up replacing it with the SRC Moto Full rack. Here is a link to the SRC rack:

@@WhoIsJonHarris it uses the stock fuel pump, but if you need a replacement the part number is 16700-KZZ-D21. I have a 2017 CRF250L as well and I get my parts from partzilla, they have all of the parts for the bike which are grouped by what assembly they are part of (muffler, handlerbar, transmission, etc.) with diagrams so that you just need to know what a part looks like and where it is on the bike.
