    I’m dying to know how you got your footage to be so CLEAN! I know you said that you were recording in 60 HD but it looks like it was filmed in 4k. Could you clarify if you are in 1080 or 4k? Also what would you recommend, always shoot 4k or best to stay in 1080. And what other options are there to shoot in if your camera doesn’t have any log settings?

    • @darpinomedia9619
      @darpinomedia9619  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey! Yes I filmed this in HD. I think getting the correct exposure and adding the right amount of contrast while color grading certainly helps. I like shooting in 4K when I can. Which camera do you have?

    Kind of confusing. Usually you take close-ups of architectural details. Not the staging. Maybe once or twice of some fun unique items but this is a first for me

    • @darpinomedia9619
      @darpinomedia9619  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Totally understand what you mean. Like I said in the video, I was actually filming this for a staging company as well. That’s why I included so many staging shots. But I will actually add more stages shots than most people. It’s the same principle as to why staging works. People can see the vibe and see themselves living there. At least that’s my opinion. But this shoot was definitely more than I typically do.

    Hey man, I really appreciate your content, my setup is exactly the same as yours, A7III with tamron 17-28 and Webill S. Can you share your gimbal settings because I struggle with wobble footage on rolling axis, tried all the motor levels and settings is the world but I couldn't fix my problem. Also can t manage to get sharp footage as yours, by far... Glad I find your content.

    • @darpinomedia9619
      @darpinomedia9619  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks! Yea I find that if you shoot in HLG 2 and bump that contrast up to like +28 or +30 it really helps with sharpness. Also, if you aren't very keen on color grading, try cine 4. It keeps alot of sharpness. I've been thinking about using it for RE shoots. Also, I don't really do anything special with the Weebil S. Just make sure you calibrate it after balancing it. It could be a bit off balance. Although I've had some issues with wobble here and there also. But I just usually work around it or stabilize it in post.

  • @airbeemedia

    I see that this video was in 2021; would you recommend another lens to shoot real estate photography AND video? perhaps; sony 16-35 F4 PZ or sigma 16-28 f.28? why did you pick TAMRON 17-28? I find myself wanting the 16mm but also may end up using that at 17mm bc of minor distortion i've been hearing about

    • @airbeemedia
      @airbeemedia ปีที่แล้ว

      also on your wide (17mm) shots, are you keeping F stop at 2.8 or are you actually just keeping it tighter so that everything is in focus?

    • @darpinomedia9619
      @darpinomedia9619  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea so I got this lens because this was before both of those lenses you mentioned were announced. I haven’t personally used either of them so I couldn’t speak to how they perform. But I’ve heard they are both great. The 1mm difference is really negligible. I typically found myself staying on the 2.8 as there is more in focus on such a wide angle lens. But I think f4 would be pretty optimal with how good the modern cameras perform in lowlight. I’ve switched to the FX30 for my real estate shoots now with the Sony 11mm 1.8 and I love it.
