How To Get Better Audio For your Real Estate Videos
Well done ! One question. I need to make a video of a café shop.. whats the best lens i could use 24 70 or my lens 50mm fixed 1.8
Price ??
I am also a real estate video shooter, but the properties I encounter are all houses with very obvious light and dark contrasts, and I need to manually control the exposure, which is really troublesome. There are also houses with different color temperatures indoors and outdoors, and I need to adjust the color temperature from 5500k to 3500k. Chinese houses like to use warm light for lighting, which is really difficult to deal with.😢😢😢
Thanks for your helpful video. I would like to ask how to choose between Sony 10-18mm and Laowa 8-16mm in real estate videos.❤❤
@@hanshengbai8105 don’t have any experience with the Laowa but the 10-18 is dope! I’d still consider the 11mm 1.8 through. F4 is a little slow for some real estate
@@darpinomedia9619 Thanks for your answer, I will buy it
epic!
@@Aparecedor thanks 🙏
Wait for the next update or buy it if you can make it back in a year.
@@RKKY-mf7fe agreed, but even with the update I think it’s going to be a great buy for a while still
Do I have to pay before I can use it?
@@lovethnikoro1448 it’s been a long time, but it was paid when I made this. Black magic has a free app now I believe
Thanks for this! Quick question tho, how do you expose hlg2? 🙂
@@intanmate8625 I usually expose protecting the highlights maybe .5 to 1ev over at most.
Are you able to import these luts into the camera fx30?
@@dwaynemims2532 Yup!
I enjoyed yo ur video. I'm starting to shoot with the Sony FX30. Can I upload the Phantom Luts to the camera just for reference I appreciate your answer. Thank you!
@@joseegonzalez4894 yea you can
As an editor and indie film guy, I love the footage from the FX3 (and the A7S III, but the FX3 is slightly better). Great in low light. Great to color grade. Game changer for indie feature film production.
Can my ipad as a receiver screen monitor to client with only wifi hollyview apps? (Straight from mars1 as a transmitter)
I’m a comedian and am torn between the A7Siii and FX3. I primarily will stick it on a tripod and film myself in comedy clubs (low light) 4K 24 perhaps as long as 30-45 minutes (continuous). Is it possible that the A7Siii will overheat? The FX3 has an internal fan and that’s the only thing making me second guess myself.
@@sherwinarae I don’t have any direct experience with the A7siii, but I’ve never heard of any overheating issues
I’m confused about what lens to buy for real estate business. Between Sony 11mm f1.8 or Sigma 10-18mm f2.8? Note that camera body I’m using is Sony A6700 Your advice is appreciated. Thanks
@@elaroussinoureddine9801 I love the versatility of the 10-18. But I think you would really benefit from the 1.8 aperture for low light situations. You could probably get by with the 2.8 though. You might need to shoot in 24fps in some scenarios
@@elaroussinoureddine9801 if it’s your only lens and you need to use it for other projects as well, the 10-18 might be a safe bet. But if you have other lenses and you are just buying it specifically for real estate, I’d go for the 11mm
@@darpinomedia9619 thanks for your replies, I got a Sony GMii 24-70mm f2.8 and Sigma 30mm F1.4. So I’m planning to break into real estate business. So, a wide lens is a must as you know. But, I don’t know if f1.8 is really needed for real estate environment.
@@elaroussinoureddine9801 I gotcha. Definitely not needed. But I was happy to have it in a lot of situations where I used it. You could find a way around it though. You will do great with either.
@@darpinomedia9619 thanks man. One last question, how is the distortion factor on it? And how do you fix it?
Great production, keep up the good work. I know enough about the fx3, but you kept me watching👍👏
@@nordfilmcompany I really appreciate that!
I have the same manfrotto tripod! Just purchased the Canon R5 mark ii. Think it’s going to be a killer camera 💪 pairing with rf 14-35mm
Just bought one and in the back of my mind kept thinking it is 3 years old, sony should be coming out with a new version anytime. But I needed it now, I’ve got an RS2 Gimble and this will be a sweet addition. I also have a PXW Z90V that was on my Gimble but found it a bit wonky and a pain to switch back and forth from tripod to Gimble. I also got an FS7 for my clients to see they are spending money on big gear lol! Great video man, I’m on board!
Totally get it, genuinely don’t think the FX3 will be obsolete for a very very long time. Even if Sony has a mark ii I don’t know what they could do that would make me NEED it.
Hi, i from Brazil. Please on Information. In your vídeos with fx30 l. what configuration do you use? example cine.slog3, Frame
you like this one or WEEBILL-S, for reale state?
@@MelvinDlaCruz this one is pretty great. I’d probably choose this one over the S

Hope you enjoy fx3 ❤ congratulations,i wonder if fx30 good enough with wide lens for real estate?!!!!!!!! Do you still recommend this camera ? For this niche? Or sony A73 or 4 its better ? Thanks bro
@@toninoaldajani I’m living the FX3. I actually made a video about the FX30 for real estate. You should check it out! But for sure, it’s good enough. More than good enough. I’d say better than the A7III and IV with the right lens
@@darpinomedia9619 ❤thank you darpino for explaining i appreciate it , i enjoyed all your vedios and reviews i saw it all its amazing wnd simple in explanation , just i was a little doubt thats maybe the fx30 not good for real estate , and i hope you can teach on line if its possible?
I got the exact same setup, should I run f2 for interiors? I ran a F4 and it was grainy in the shadows! Contemplating selling for a zve1
@@ProjectLabz I usually shot at F2 and it worked out. I actually just picked up a zve1. I’m going to make a video about it, but It’s a pretty great camera. It does get hot, but I haven’t had it overheat.
@@darpinomedia9619 Sweet good to know, ok maybe ill give it another crack before I sell it haha. Cheers legend.
Lovely video! Hoping to get mine next week. Just one feedback though. The music bed was a bit too loud and was drowning your voice
I appreciate it! I’ll definitely make sure to lower it a bit.
what are your thoughts on the Tokina 11-18mm f/2.8 ATX-M Lens ?
As an interior designer, I find your skills very informative. I plan to take the final render into my own hands. I believe a gimbal would be beneficial for your camera operator as well. Thank you for your valuable insights.
Nice vid thanks! Subbed.
I own an FX3 and I’m looking to buy a B-cam for multi cam recordings. I’m thinking of getting the fx30. Do you recommend otherwise like the A74?
It’s hard to say. The FX30 is a great B cam. The biggest issue that I have found (which can be a benefit) is the lenses are different on each system. So it would not be a direct backup if something were to go wrong

@@darpinomedia9619 is wide enough with this lens?
@@darpinomedia9619 you still suing this lens? or you when with the nisi or laowa 9mm?
@@MelvinDlaCruz I sold the fx30 for the fx3 so I’m not using it anymore.
4:36... and you are absolutely on point. Reminding everyone that about 80% of big production films we see are produced with Super35 sensor cameras is crucial, because it's more than time to understand they are tools. And same as for all of them : if you know how to use them properly, the job shall be more than clean. Even more than that if the operator has some sort of talent ! I would not trade my FX30 for another camera, it gets me more than I need and my next lens (in a few days, hopefully) will expand this to a degree. To achieve the same results with a 24x36 sensor, it would more than triple the cost and double the mass. I gave a try at photographing with it and the results were brilliant. A phone call from a costumer recently confirmed it. This camera belongs to the very few pieces of gear we can objectively say have changed the way we create. Did anyone out there thought, 20 years back, it could be possible to have such an amazing result, from such a small size thing and at such a reasonable price ? I did not, even in my darest dreams !
@@gillesmatheronpro exactly! The right tool for the right job. Super 35 sensors are great for a lot of reasons
Great video. Thanks for the review!
@@Dan_photo of course! Thanks for watching.

Nice!

ngl , with z6iii out , the fast readout and no crop 4k60 of the 12mp triplets is kinda redundant , with 24mp 4k60 ( up to 6k30 ) internal raw with ibis and usable af - and its cheaper too for some salt on the wound thats assuming you even shoot in low light ,the fx30 offers sharper 4k footage aswell with large reduction in costs note : dual iso for the z6iii at 6400 iso
Yea I’m sure it’s a great cam! I’d love to try it out. But I don’t see any need after buying the fx3. Not that I think everyone should spend the money on the fx3, but my sentiment is to buy the right camera asap! If that’s the z6iii, I’m all for that.
@@darpinomedia9619 i appreciate that , use what you have at hand to the limit and the gear will never dissapoint, oh but also as a sidenote, sony lenses can be used on nikon z with adapter just in case 3-4 years in the future you switch

Thank man! Shot this on the Sony A7IV!
🔥 video bro keep it up
Thank you so much
idk why I plug it into my cam and it won't pair and its just a black screen
though it is still worth buying and will be for probably a good few years, sony will probably release the mark II within 2025. that’s just my best guess. it will have been for years
*four years
I agree, they will probably release a mark II eventually. But I can’t imagine anything they could add that would make me buy it anytime soon. But I’ve been wrong before lol
@@darpinomedia9619 all i want on the next one is open gate for uncropped anamorphic use
Thanks, king
You are welcome! Also, that name is 🔥. I’m jealous.
Great job! Restaurants can be tough! Good idea with the pavotube lighting! Small and blends in! Where did you set it up? On a stand or on the counter somewhere?
Thank you! On this shoot I just placed it on the counters and shelves. Not much room in most restaurant kitchens for stands. I may even pick up the smaller pavotube lights to make it easier to fit.
Hi is it better than 1.4 15mm g for vlogging ?
That is probably a personal preference. The 15mm might be little tight for vlogging. But it could get the job done and be used for more than the 11mm
Can you PLEASE show us how to set up these options. Your video was insanely hard to catch which buttons you’re pressing to get to these options! 😢
I could do that for sure!
I have the a7IV and I'm just getting into editing and color grading. Are there any free LUT's that are worth it or should i just get a pack... also is there a difference between color grading and using a LUT?
You can get the free lut from Sony on their website. Really it’s hard to explain the difference, but think if it as the lut is doing the work you. There are luts that bring your log footage or flat footage to a standard 709 look (which is what this video is about). Also there are creative luts which can give you a “color grade”. All of this can be done manually within your editing software, but the luts make it quicker and easier if you aren’t an experienced colorist
Hey bro I noticed you didn’t mention what size in mm the ND filter is. Can you please clarify?
Been thinking about getting it and pairing it with my a74.
It’s a dream team combo!
Would love to know what you think. I'm getting this camera and my shooting partner has the a7iv, hopefully they can collaborate well together
@@quainejohnson4808 Oh they match together very easily.
