I would have used some sort of wood filler for the sides, after sanding. to make it a little more smooth. after it dries resand until you like the looks of it. I think it will make it look less like low cost plywood.

Really neat Barry, really neat, have you got any experience using multiple batteries together? Im planning a design over a tda7294p board and can't make out if the best solution is to use a stepper for reaching supply voltage or a series connection of several batteries

Great video, a lot of guys are worried about battery safety, 18650 batteries are generally good but for the exception of anything with fire on it...surefire, ultrafire and so on,
10 watts at the upped 6 volts only draws 1.66 amps, ohm's law.
Yes we vapers need to be more careful though lol.
How a battery is charged is just as important and a lot of people miss this point.

  • @octaviannicula8830

Thank you for this video !
    I have a question :
Could I use a power bank (like an portable battery charger for phones) instead the 18650 battery? and by the way disable the step up converter because no need of anymore ? this will be more simple .. i think

I tried to do a speaker myself using the same amp module board (CSR8645). Everything is working fine however, every other 5 or 10 minutes, the speaker beeps. Did you encounter the same issue? Do you have any idea where it could come from?

Hey nice work and thanks for sharing.
I have one problem with very similar bluetooth speaker that I made.
When I turn volume all the way up, suddenly everything drops out, just like loosing power.
Do you have such experience and did you use large capacitor to prevent this problem? I tried 1000uF and I did not success to prevent droping at high volumes :) Do I need larger capacitor or there is other reason for this problem ?
    All the best ...

Hi, I really loved the design and it seems so easy that I build one for myself. Same components and pretty much the same enclosure. It sound awesome but I noticed that when on high volumes, after a few seconds, the speaker turns off by himself. Did this happen to you any time? Do you know how can I solves this? I think the problem might be on the step up module, witch can´t give the necessary power to the Bluetooth module, but I´m not sure... Thanks for your attention and keep doing projects like this one! Really cool!!!

But I still have two 3-watt 4 ohm speakers and a PAM8403 amplifier. How can I properly connect four audio speakers and two amps to each other? Please, help me.
