one thing I would like to see is a quick play of the sound quality with a frequency analyzer review as well to prove how well they are performing.

A video like this is very nice for watching the speaker project come together. It's all the work that has to be done on the front end - calculating enclosure volumes, designing crossovers, predicting baffle step and boundary effects - that is far less glamorous but sets really great projects apart from the 'good' ones.

A most excellent little project. You could have easily bettered the design by using differential cabinet (non-cube) panels, chamfer completely the front round hole edges you mounted the driver to, make a SMALL slitted port on one panel. Did you test stuffing acoustic foam in the cabinet?

Kirdy, I just started to watch your videos. Your work looks amazing. I thinking I found my new hobby for the summer. I got into wood working several years back and now have been having trouble thinking about what eles I could be making. This is giving me a new direction. Goal: 5.1 surroundsound and soundbar with woofer.

I really like those little speakerboxes you made! Maybe I would add a really low frequent highpass filter, to secure the speakers against deep bass they are not able to reproduce anyways. It would make them more stable at higher loads.

Found a free pair of cabs with a 12", 6" and tweeters in both. The 12s didn't have cones but I tested the 6s and tweeters and they sound pretty amazing, especially for being on the side of the road, and they look to be in great condition. Can't wait to turn them into pc monitors.

Nice job, beautiful look. I assume you were trying to make low-fidelity Auratone / Avantone style mixing check monitors. If not, and you wanted good fidelity, you should always choose a properly sized / tuned enclosure that is also not a cube. But either way, one of the most beautiful speakers I have seen.
